I'm here at this post office location on 23rd and Santa Fe Ave in Long Beach. It's 9:30 a.m. but is not open. The iare about 15 customers sitting in their cars and standing by the entrance. They are getting very impatient waiting for the doors to unlock.
Probably the slowest Post Office in America. Understaffed and no sense of urgency.
I guess my last review did not go through. I had sent it few hours @ 6PM yesterday. I will never go to this PO anymore. Here's what happened. It was 5PM unsure exactly what time it was.. but to my luck the PO door was opened. So I went in. There were two customers on line. Immediately the PO agent woman saw me and said, "We are closed after her that's it.. pointing to customer in front of me." I was already in, the door was opened and I did not say anything but thought she would change her mind.. so I continued to stand there. After serving customer, she turned again to me and said.. "We are closed after her that's it.." So I said "But the door is locked one of your agents just locked door I can't get out.." So the agent then heard this mess opened door. I left. : feeling so disgusted! One customer leaving saw me.. was so upset of how rude the agent was. She said I should have stayed I was already in. It was so disgusting knowing very well how often I go to this PO almost everyday. And this rude agent I just saw her the day before. : If it was a private business I don't think I would be treated like this! So sad. Please. next time close your door then when it''s closing time - 5PM! It was not my fault your door was opened! Lovely service you got there post office at Santa Fe! Keep up the great job and the fact that you are located opposite from St. Lucy church meant nada to you. My tax money at work! WOW!
I always have a good experience here. The Latina clerk is always so nice and sweet. She gave me a silver dollar once, I haven't seen one of those in years. I'm always there because I sell online and I'm always grateful for their help.
Had two packages that left Los Angeles Facility three days ago and it takes 30 minutes to get to Long Beach by freeway and still haven't gotten my packages. Was suppose to be delivered 7/27/2020 and now it's 7/28/2020 end of the day 8:25 P.M having gotten it today either. I will be posting bad reviews everywhere online I had problems with this company in the past.
I have been going to this post office for 30 years. Employees were always pleasant until the last year or so when there was a change in employees...very rude and condescending...and not just to me! When I got to window, an African American woman was busy cleaning her cell phone screen...I proceed to speak and she did not respond so I stopped and waited for her to finish. When she was done she then answered my questions very rudely.
I am truly beyond bummed. We live in a day and age where you should never leave a package on someones door step. especially out in the open As a mail Women or Man it is your responiblity to insure we get our packages. If we are not at home, you should leave a note for us to pick it up. Unfortunitly this mail women failed at her job and left my package out in the open and of course it was stollen.
probably the slowest post office in the planet.
Diana is the worst of the employees real POS. She has this attitude like she hasn't gotten sleep for years. She's the typical person you avoid at DMV's and offices overall.
Perhaps im the exception but I have never had a bad experience here. The lines aren't long and the people assisting have been helpful when I need to drop off a package or buy something.
