I've never had issues with mail delivery until I moved to Minot. This has to be the worst service I've ever seen in my 45 years of life on this planet. They are more consistent at losing packages than they are at actually delivering them. They are constantly putting our neighbor's mail in our mailbox. It's not that hard to read the address. My neighbor asks me at least once a week if I got any of their mail. They've delayed deliveries due to weather when the weather was never an issue bright, sunny for days. One time I got a warning put on my mailbox stating that my box was too low by maybe a couple inches so they didn't deliver the mail and instructed me to pick it up at the post office. They told me they would not deliver again until I fixed my mailbox. I went to the post office and showed the lady the warning message and she couldn't find any mail. I never fixed it but they started delivering mail immediately after that anyway. I JUST had a package say "delivered" TODAY but never arrived. I'm scared to order anything online. Seriously, is someone going to fix this broken system?
Multiple issues arise at this post office. From blatantly ignoring entire areas of service for days at a time to being the worst service I’ve ever experienced living anywhere. To packages disappearing, I think this place needs an internal investigation with how many packages go missing. Customer service is absolutely unbearable and unhelpful. Just adding to the already burning pile of 1 star reviews.
Package says delivered but never was. $200 package. This post office needs a internal investigation I think the employees are stealing packages. When you go in and try to resolve the situation they treat you like garbage and provide you with no help at all. It's mind blowing.
They fail to deliver packages and say no one was home without leaving a note. I work from home so I know they didn't even try to deliver our packages. Then they decided we were vacant and stopped delivering our mail and refused to pick up our "new" resident slip until we went in and complained.
Absolutely trash. Find somewhere else to fulfill your postal/passport needs. Alice is beyond unhelpful. I've had better custom service from a strung out Walmart employee.
Lost mail pieces. Very inconsistent mail delivery. Poor customer service at main post office. I know that I'm missing mail deliveries because I use their service called "informed delivery" which scans images of all the mail pieces so you can see what is scheduled to be delivered. For example this week, Mon,12/19/22 - Thur,12/22/22 I haven't had a single piece of mail delivered when I've had multiple scheduled to be delivered each day. Had several mail pieces lost and been told there wasn't anything they could do. Customer service is poor at the main Minot office. I shouldn't be made to feel like I've inconvenienced them simply by asking for assistance in tracking mail or picking up mail. I shouldn't have to be embarrassed by them when they raise their voice and make a lobby scene after politely asking for delivery status updates . Especially when my tax dollars pay for their salary and customer service and ever rising service fees don't guarantee delivery or quality service.
I have been waiting for my packages for over a week. All of them are at the post office so I called the 800 number and they told me that I can pick them up. I go to the post office and they say they can’t give out packages and you have to wait for the postal carrier. I have been waiting for a week so when is she delivering these packages. There were about ten people in there and a few ahead of me and that was the response. If you are low on employees how is that the customers fault? I don’t like to kill the messenger but I was about to. This makes no sense and they should have had a system in place a long time ago to get people’s packages and mail delivered. People are not getting mail either.
They don’t know how to do they job my package was suppose be delivered in 2 days got to the office they don’t even know where it’s at then said out for delivery then said I can pick it up
Terrible service.I paid extra for shipping, and not once was my package delivered on time. I once had to drive over to the post office just to collect my package, the package was over a week overdue and I paid $15 for 1-2 day delivery. If I pay for a service and get nothing in return, then what am I even paying for?
Had a package delivered to me. Says they attempted at 12pm didn’t hear a signal knock nothing. Also why is you phone number ever working! After this experience never going through usps ever again.
