Came in for a passport and my appointment time came and went. Waited an extra 15 minutes for them to help other customers, not a big deal, it’s Christmas so I’m patient. Problem is that it said it’s full service with photo service on site. Wrong. Machine is down. I go into CVS a half mile away to get the photo, and the manager there expressed their frustration because it’s been years that the photo service has been down at this location. It would save a lot of time if that was made available before booking the appointment.
Absolutely the most useless post office I have been to. Went to do passport renewals and was told "they didn't know how". Then went to pick up a package that said it was delivered there and they looked at the computer and said "nope it isn't here"
Went to pick up a package. Employees very dismissive and rude. 1st one went to look, took a long time, came back and said "I can't find it," and turned to help someone else. I asked if that was all, she turned back around, clearly irritated, said "ugh, do you have a tracking# ?" I gave it to her and she turned to another employee and asked him to go look for the package. Employee #2 went to look. About 10 minutes later he returned and casually said "well it does say it's here but i don't know where." He printed the tracking details and asked for my name and # to have a supervisor call me and nonchalantly said "yeah I couldn't find it sorry. " Then called up the next customer. At that moment it wasn't even about the package aymore, it was the way I was treated specially by the 1st employee. The package was supposed to be delivered to my home to begin with. No notice of attempted delivery at my home was left. At that point I don't even think the carrier tried to actually deliver. It's always a bad experience there. I was dreading the trip, but I went in hoping for a better experience, but nope. Rude and slow like always.
Friendly people, long lines, run-down facilities, and mail is often stolen from the drive thru box. But for a small town like Fallbrook it gets the job done. Bonsall location is better.
The staff at Fallbrook Post office are .always friendly, helpful and efficient. When I think of the long lines of customers they have to process, interacting with the public all day long, often dealing with crabby customers, I realize how intense their job is and how much I would be 'going postal' if that's what I did for a living. Thank you Everyone at Fallbrook Post Office!
The overnight drop box is constantly full. Employees are slow and they don't care about their job...I hate this post office!
I just went to have a package with a book returned and this lady who also happens to be the manager comes to try an help us while in line. We tell her that the return fee is something we have to pay for and we only came in to pay for it. She tells us that the return slip is something we ask the bookstore for. I tell her that we have to take care of it but she just kept rudely insisting. She spoke to us as if she was some USPS goddess with all the knowledge. So we step out of the line for a quick second to check because we were almost next and we didn't want to hold the line. Well, because we stepped out of the line, our 5 minute visit became a 40 minute visit. I don't blame the employees as it was another customer's fault we waited that long, but if it weren't for the manager's lack of knowledge on the fact that not everyone covers your return slip we would have had a better experience. Her employee knew more than her as he knew that we had to cover the payment. She had glasses and brown hair and clearly doesn't know what she is talking about. I would give this a one star, but the employees there were so nice and helpful unlike her.
The US Postal service is a failing business, and has been for some time now. When you visit USPS locations, it's really apparent why. The people who work there absolutely hate their job, and hate you for coming into the post office. What a terrible experience today. I just tried to pick up some mail and the attitude was incredibly rude. I will keep doing everything I can to avoid using USPS. And I will try to never come to this location again.
This post office has either lost or not delivered important time sensitive mail on two occasions putting me at risk for losing my housing. After the first time I would just pay for the stamps and mail it myself outside because both times the packages weren't delivered they meter mailed them and threw them in a bin this time they meter postaged the package and wouldn't give it back stating they had to mail it I cringed just from dealing with the previous mishap and guess what once again impact mail wasn't delivered
I have had numerous problems with our mail delivery. We get other people’s mail, plus we are getting mail every other day. All of my mail was in my neighbors box, even though our address is very visible on each box. They really need to do random checks on their delivery people. I am so frustrated. I don’t have the money to get a PO Box, nor should I have to. So very sad. Glad I did not mail my votes from my box!
