Universal Logistics Truckload Division in Birmingham, Alabama is raising awareness in order to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
We are accepting donations are multiple locations. We will be accepting the donations until September 20th.
This page has been created in an effort to raise awareness for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Two of our drivers, Alvin Bland and George Lawson have come up with a plan in to help communities surrounding the city of Houston, Texas.
The plan is to fill two 53' van trailers with all of the necessary items that the people of Houston will need during this difficult time. The drivers will transport the generous donations from Birmingham, AL and deliver the items to the La Porte Police Department located just outside the city of Houston, Texas. We will be accepting donations such as:
-Water
-Non-perishable food items
-Diapers
-Toiletries
-Pet food
-And more!
We have partnered with a local Birmingham Carraba’s Italian Grill, Middle Creek Medical Center in McCalla, AL, and several churches in the Birmingham area. We will be accepting any donations at the drop-off locations until September 20, 2017. Delivery will be made on September 24, 2017.
