First time back in many years. They took some notes from Disney and it is a much happier place now. Staff were all excellent across the board during our 3-day stay. I will advise that the fast passes are not fast. Or express. They just cut the line wait time in about half. It still means waiting 30-40 minutes for the more popular rides. If you really want to take all the rides, take one of their VIP tours. Well worth it.
A great weekend retreat with relaxed atmosphere and amazing weather. The queue was within 40 min-1 hr + for most of the attractions. The food was exceptional and my favorite part was taking the train to Hogwarts!Visited onPublic holidayWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
We traveled from across the country for this park, specifically for Halloween Horror Nights! The team members were amazing, the makeup and scare zones were just crazy fun. There were 10 houses to experience and beyond amazingly themed. Jump scares galore. This I can’t say enough positive about the houses the employees and the overall atmosphere. Why the three stars? The money makers want to optimize profits, oversell there “refillable” drink cups and they aren’t prepared for the amount of drinks for the park goers. So we were duped into buying a cups and we weren’t able to refill more than 2 times. Do better upper management and take care of the employees that make you the money and take care of the guests that spend that money.
Great place to enjoy a day out with friends and/ or family. The only thing I experienced that I didn't agree with was that when you ask a member a question, they assume that you should know the answer. Been there for the first time. It is sad to say that you can't even rely on most members who work at this place. That is amazing and great to have fun. Some members will direct you to the correct location or even offer more ideas to enjoy your day. Some members were rude, and there was no time for you to even finish asking the question.
Brought the kids here for some fun we purchased a two day pass. The line to get is was extremely long. Once we got in the line for guest services was the longest wait. Once into the park we hit the Island of Adventure Park first. It was a little crowded and difficult to navigate with my mobility scooter. There weren’t many rides that I could go on. I wish the parks sold a pass at a lower price for grandparents and adults who are there to wait for the kids to get off of the rides. Definitely bring sunblock and a hat even though they sell that stuff here. The food options were pretty expensive. Overall it was a great experience I’d definitely go again. A few of the 3D rides that I could go on they made you transfer to the absolute worst wheelchair. It felt like sitting on steel. My Pride GOGo Traveler with a 12ah battery pack just made it through the day and back to the parking garage. A 18ah or better battery pack would have given plenty of juice to make it through the day without stress of running out of battery.
Loved everything about Universal Studios, way better than Disney. We weren't burning in the sun they had shelters at the sections to wait on your rides and fan. Even though some wait time was long, it really didn't seem that long. The overall experience was amazing. It was really surreal. My family enjoyed every bit, i should have scrapped Disney and do 2 days here.
WARNING: DO A RECON DAY IF IT’S YOUR 1ST TIME. Yes, everything in the parks City Walk/Universal Studios/Isles of Adventure is significantly more expensive than outside but you can avoid quite a bit of destroyed expectations by navigating the parks before buying anything. Understand that this is a business but it’s also meant for your fun and entertainment. We did reconnaissance on day one and an express pass on day two. After day one, we flew around the park and caught almost all the rides in a single day. You can also do “single riders” if you want to avoid buying an express pass. THIS WAS A GREAT TIME and can be phenomenal if you go in with a prepared mindset!
This was my first time visiting this theme park and it was amazing! All the different sections were immersive and the rides were awesome! I highly recommend going in the fall, during the week, and first thing when they open. We went through both Universal Studios and Island's of adventure and did all the rides with little to no wait times, and even took an hour to sit down and eat lunch, and another hour later to take a break and get snacks and drinks. The facilities were clean and inviting and the staff were kind and helpful. The shops were blasting air conditioning and had a wide aray of souvenirs and goodies. My first time at Universal was definitely a 10 out of 10!
Went on the VIP experience. Definitely the way to go when at universal, you get to all your rides so quick and the guide takes you the back way through all of them to get you on first. You tell him which places you're most interested in and he makes sure you guys visit all the stuff you're itching to get to. You skip all the lines and go straight to the front. It's great. You also get complimentary breakfast and lunch. Our tour guide was Jacob. He was great, he definitely cares about the guests having a great experience. There was a mishap with my mom and their cart thingy she can't walk around so she needed to use their carts someone tried to move her cart while we were inside having lunch and broke the cart. He had them deliver another one to us outside the restaurant . Overall it was a great time. If you have the opportunity, definitely do the vip tour.
Had an amazing day at the park with surprisingly reasonable queue times, not having to wait longer than an hour all day. The rides and areas were excellent, except from the Simpsons ride where we waited inside for nearly twenty minutes seeing very few staff and no communication of why we weren’t moving, then we were boarded into the ride where we sat in silence for a couple of minutes before anything happened… just strange. Otherwise the other parts of the park were great, especially diagonal alley, and we throughly enjoyed the whole day. Also, beware of the $30 parking fee that is charged at entrance to the park
