To celebrate my mothers 93rd birthday, we had a wine tasting at Spencer & Lynn in Groton. CT. The theme of the tasting was “Old World vs New World”. Kathryn presented 3 pairs of wines, one from old world, one from new world. Wow — what fun we had! Kathryn was able to keep the rowdy bunch on-track with aplomb, all while describing ravenous yeast, the subtleties of decaying skins, and how she once made wine from the blood of her mortal enemy. Just kidding about that last point… Thanks so much to Katherine — we’ll definitely do this again.

Best hidden secret in the Mystic area. Enjoy the ambiance of a historic coastal New England town while picking up specialty craft beers, trying new whiskey or bourbon in their liquor room or picking up a nice bottle of wine all with excellent service and great prices! We love this place!
Universal Package provided all the drinks and even put me in touch with a bartender for my rehearsal dinner at Abbott's Lobster. CJ was great to work with from start to finish. I was very happy with their selection and prices. They went above and beyond in several instances, delivering all the cases of wine and beer to Abbott's in their golf cart, and offering to buy back unopened cases at the end of the night so we weren't stuck with a ton of leftovers. Couldn't have been happier with my experience there!

Spencer and Lynn wine and spirits, liquor store, very hostile, did not like my mask, which I do not have to wear, I wore it to be nice, and forced me out, girl even went to push me, physically got in my face. Very hostile do not go there. These people are completely insane. Was ready to spend up to 300 bucks, me at getting a dime from me.

I am from out of state and they bent my Id in half leaving a large crease down the middle. I now have to have a new Id shipped out to me because they felt the need to fold mine like a paper airplane. I am sure there are other ways of verifying an ID then the method that was done to mine
