Similar to Earth Day events, individuals and organizations all over the planet are encouraged to self-organize their own Universe Day Birthday of the Universe celebrations and also create global warming and climate re-stabilization events & meet-ups to forward this vision and provoke effective action on this future critical issue. Universe Day is a no-ownership, no-egos, get Job One for Humanity out and done now. Imitate it, adapt it, improve it, and even steal it if it means that its climate re-stabilization message is quickly adopted to build a more sustainable future.

Universe Day 2015/2016 focuses on the four following and interrelated global adaptive challenges and action goals:
1.) Encouraging people everywhere to stop using the terms "global warming" and "climate change" in their conversations and switch to the more accurate and change empowering terms of "climate destabilization," "irreversible climate destabilization" or "extinction-level climate destabilization." (Our blog on the Universe Day web site [TheUniverseDay.org] explains in detail why this is a critical and needed terminology upgrade in the climate stabilization battle.)
2.) Increasing awareness of the global warming/climate destabilization tipping points, which if not resolved soon, will lead to irreversible climate destabilization (or even our extinction.)
3.) Dramatically reducing atmospheric carbon emissions on a emergency global basis! This emergency reduction of human-caused carbon emissions is truly now "Job One" for all of humanity. (The current escalating climate destabilization is the result of human-caused carbon pollution of our atmosphere by fossil fuels. 4.) Acting more effectively and wisely as planetary Evolutioneers and universe citizens. As such, we have the responcibility to act from a long-term and big picture universe evolutionary perspective to wisely forward evolution on the planet, for humanity and its future. There are critical global responsibilities that transcend our national citizenship. The largest current responcibility is global warming and its escalating climate destabilization. This is one essential and life-critical area where we must act together and be effective trans-national planetary Evolutioneers and universe citizens.
Universe Day is focused on honoring the beauty truth and goodness of the Universe. It is also currently focused on stopping the radical temperature increases on the planet. It is also about educating on how the universe's evolutionary principles can help us work together to meet the tremendous challenges of our times.
