My daughters appointment was at 9:15am and it’s 11:44 and we’re still here. My daughter is 4 and doesn’t wanna be sitting around waiting for hours to see a doctor, no one does. The waiting room was packed and definitely looked like they booked more appointments then they can handle. This is our first time here so I do not know if it’s always like this. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I am BEYOND livid. If you have special needs kids I don't recommend Dr Liegal We scheduled an appointment with Dr liegal almost a year ago for May. They called me like 2 days before her appointment to reschedule because she was "unavailable". It gets rescheduled for today..3 MONTHS later. We show up today, and are told Dr Liegal is refusing to see her because 5 YEARS AGO there was an "upsetting appointment" when she was at eye consultants of Syracuse when my daughter was barely 4. She never hit them, or hurt them. She was just upset and uncooperative and loud. So anyway they have a tech come in to try to do initial exams. My daughter is of course yelling. And pushed away the techs hands. And the tech kept saying "we don't hit". SHE WASNT HITTING. She's overwhelmed and pushed your hands away because she didn't want you touching her face. The other dr comes in. Is honestly great with her. Dr Abazaga is phenomenal. She had ZERO issues with my daughter. Because of her patience and ability to recognize how to get her to participate to calm her, my daughter fully cooperated and did great. But WHAT?!?!. I specifically asked if they knew how to handle kids with special needs. To discriminate against a child with a disability because you don't want to deal with a kid who isn't perfectly compliant, and because of something that happened that long ago...?
One star ONLY because you have to give a star to write a review! My infant was referred here in August and I called the last week in October because I still hadn't heard anything, and the referral person was EXTREMELY rude. She stated referrals take 4-6 week This is week 9 since she confirmed the date they received it, and then proceeded to tell me because its now almost November, they can't get her in until January. The rudeness of this employee alone made me decide that this place was not someplace I wanted caring for my infant. It's not that hard to be kind to people. Do better.
I had the most wonderful experience this morning. Rebecca who is a technician - is fabulous!! I can tell you what an impression she made on me. This lady is beautiful inside and out! She should get a raise and recognition for her STAR care and warm personality! God Bless Rebecca!!
My first visit ever was yesterday! The technician and my doctor Edita Abazaga were amazing, they ran all tests possible & listened to everything I had to say. Very thorough, friendly and patient. I highly recommend going if you need help.
Why does it take three doctors to look at one patient wait time is ridiculous
ONLY because I have to give a star, I would not even give a single star for this place. February I was referred here to see an eye doctor. End of March beginning of April was told by a nurse that someone would contact me to set up an appointment. Today, June 17, 2022 I was just told that no one has even looked at my referral yet.... They completely blew me off which makes me wonder how badly they treat their actual patients. I am now looking elsewhere for an eye doctor.
Waited over three hours to see doctor… appointment was at 1:15 now 4:30 doctor just walked in. Previous appointments have been ok some wait time which is understandable however this time ridiculous. Unfortunate cause staff is polite and thorough.
Upstate is by far exceptionally working toward comprehensive care- Specialists, gps, etc, ate phenomenally cooridinated and effectively moving toward the illusivefor most healthcare homes- in tgwory for most as an actualized - PRACTICE! IT IS POSSIBLE! '- TAKE NPTE TRINITY
I called in the beginning of October The reception I got on the phone tried so hard to lose a customer act like I was bothering her when I asked to make an appointment extra questions if I need a referral from my doctor and she caught an attitude she didn’t want to be on the phone nor do her job and it clearly showed
