Staff to child ratios are small, allowing for the individual and small group interactions so beneficial to children ages one through five. The learning environments are full of beautiful and well constructed sensorial materials that entice the child to “choose a good work!”
Life skills and virtues are modeled and practiced at University Montessori. Appreciation for all creation is encouraged and celebrated. The divine and sublime merge here in this Lilliputian world where furnishings, art, glassware and decor gift the child’s senses and minister to his developmental growth.
A beautiful canopy provided by oak and pecan trees, flower and herb gardens, a turtle habitat and an outdoor labyrinth invite all who enter the campus to pause and recognize the simple beauty that surrounds us.
Both our indoor and outdoor Montessori environments are designed to promote peace, order and responsible independence.
