The University of South Dakota Student Government Association - Meeting time at 6:30 on Tuesdays in the Freedom Forum in Al Neutharth Media Center.
The Student Government Association or SGA is the student governing body of the University. The Student Government Association of the University of South Dakota is committed to improving the University as a positive environment for all students. As the liaison between students, administration, faculty and the South Dakota Board of Regents, The Student Government Association strives to enhance communication, understanding, and cooperation throughout the University. We are continually searching for motivated students to become SGA senators to further our goals university excellence.
Legal Aid is provided by SGA and the USD representatives Jason and Rachel hold office hours Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11:30am-2:00pm. Appointments can be made outside of this timeframe by calling their law office: (605) 763-5024.
To govern the students in their best interests, to direct student organizations within the University, and to represent the students before the University community and the citizens of South Dakota, subject to the limitations imposed by the laws of the State of South Dakota and the rules of the Board of Regents.
