I have been a patient of the UOP Balance & Hearing Center since Sept.2019. During the past 4 years I have gone back for my included periodic reviews. For the last year & a half, audiologist Dr.Awad has attended to me. She is very patient & listens to my concerns. From time to time I go to the office because of a problem with my devices. The office staff, Cherry & Iris have resolved many of my problems forthwith. My wife recently had her hearing test conducted by Dr.Awad & awaiting her trial devices. There has never been any pressure to buy a hearing device. With a significant hearing loss my hearing devices have improved my quality of life. As a mid nonagenarian I find the audiologists & staff very patient with my concerns & eager to help with any of my audio problems. The Center’s director, Dr.Gail, & staff have my deepest appreciation for attending to me as a patient.

Love this place! I've been wearing hearing aids since age 8 and am in my early 60s now. I have been to many Audiologists over the prior 50+ years and have found UOP Hearing and Balance Center to be as good as any I've ever gone to. They are knowledgeable and friendly and do an excellent job of testing and fitting. I highly recommend them to anyone with any level of hearing loss.
My wife and I moved to Stockton in August of 2021, and began the search for various care givers. One of the top priorities on my list was getting new hearing Aids. I made appointments at three facilities. After the visits, my choice was UOP Hearing and Balance Center. Each subsequent appointment assured me I had found a good fit. The year 2022 is the first year there is a significant improvement in my hearing ability. I can only attribute this to the technological advancement in hearing aids as well as the cutting edge skills taught at the University of the Pacific Hearing and Balance Center. I was evaluated by a very bright senior soon to be audiologist along with her teacher/instructor at every step. I Have Found My Happy Place.
Every time I have visited UOP’s Hearing Center I have been seen in a timely manner and my issues have been resolved.
I would not go anywhere else for hearing aids! The staff is so professional, and being a teaching institution, they are up on the very latest in hearing tests and hearing aids. Dr. Gail is so personable, and very helpful in explaining things to my level of understanding. I highly recommend the University of Pacific Hearing and Balance Center!!
