I love this place!!! The staff are just the sweetest ppl I've meet since being in Jax. You can tell how much a person likes their job by the way they treat the customers. I can say they love their jobs hear they are always willing to lend a hand. And they also offer amazing programs for ppl of all ages.
I went to the friends of the library big bag book sale, it was very crowded, but a lot of fun, the staff was friendly and helpful and I was able to get a lot of great books.
Cheapest place to print in town 15c/page Black & White. Emma and Chris are the best, so helpful. In and out in 10 minutes.
I've been a consumer here since early 2007. All my years of coming to the libraries all around Jacksonville I have never been this badly antagonized and discriminated against. A young free man by the name of James refused to provide customer service not only to me but others as well. Plus, he chose to continuously invigorate negative slurs to me while in attempts to be a productive, hardworking business owner. Please Regard, Julian Williams
Seems like a nice place. As one who is not familiar with the area, Google Maps took me to the entrance on Jack. It wasn't obvious what the building was from that entrance until I saw the front from the side. I only went there to meet with someone in one of the meeting rooms.
I go to the friends of the library bookstore attached to the library. Tons of books. Priced at 1 to 2 bucks for a hardback.
Beautiful library Better then main branch No homeless people
Working early voting at this location but this is a busy library
Clean, quiet, safe, and a helpful staff. Lovely inside and outside. AND a bookstore is right around the corner. There is drive thru drop off on the north end for DVDs and books. Hard to believe this was once a Kmart which i shopped every 3-4 days. On Thursdays there is even a fresh produce truck parked out front for a few hours around 10-11 am with great veggies.
This is an early voting site and I worked there.
