The Center for Native American Health (CNAH) is a University of New Mexico program. Our goal in Student Development is to outreach, recruit, retain, and support Native American students as they pursue health-related careers.
CNAH has been active in New Mexico tribal and off-Reservation American Indian communities for a number of years with a focus on three major areas: UNM HSC student recruitment and retention, education and training, and research.
Our mission is to deliver public health education, research, and service, aligned with principles of Indigenous core values and engagement.
