The University of Utah Physician Assistant Program (UPAP) seeks to educate physician assistant students through an educational process that includes basic medical, behavioral, and social sciences; patient assessment and clinical medicine; supervised clinical practice; and heath policy and professional practice issues.
MISSION: To increase access to health care, especially to those living in medically underserved and rural communities, through the training and service of highly skilled physician assistants committed to the health and wellbeing of their communities.

The Division of Physician Assistant Studies is housed within the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Utah.
