Urban Armour Gallery showcases the mild steel/fused gold collection of Urban Armour jewelry created by Chris Nelson, Goldsmith. Opal, raw diamonds and other interesting stones are often found in the work.
All of the work is created solely by Chris Nelson in his private mountain studio in Pagosa Springs, CO.
Workshops of 5 or 6 days in mild steel and fused golds are also offered in a private studio situation for 4 students maximum.
Plans are evolving to offer 2 day weekend workshops by other nationally celebrated artists in tufa casting, flame work making glass beads, enamel work, bone carving, and jewelry design.
Paintings by Mary Linda Mills, resident of Durango, CO are also featured in the Gallery.
