Urban Art Galley is a great place to host an event. It's a nice ambiance and a convenient location. I was a vendor at a pop up shop that was hosted there and it was all love. The owner was very friendly and made sure all of the vendors was comfortable and had what was needed. I actually can't wait until the next pop up shop.

Not only have I had the pleasure to host and attend events, perform and enjoy performances, support just causes and spend a night viewing beautiful art; I've been able to enjoy all of these moments right in my community. Urban Art Gallery has community programs like Art painting, martial arts classes & is open to the West Philadelphia and  surrounding community.  The establishment has two levels with bathrooms on both floors, is very clean with a great audio system. Rates for renting the space are some of the beat in the city

Nice place to see Hometown talent. Most, if not all, artwork is for sale. I'm revisiting this review years later. If anything, this place is "all that and more". I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone interested. It's an asset to the community, a fine establishment with equally good ownership/management! Thank you for providing me with many hours of peace and enjoyment. The showcase of local black artists is wonderful and dynamic, inviting one to come back over and over.

Attended the book release of Condition Red by Terrance James and the gallery was a beautiful setting and convenient location.

I recently attended an intimate birthday celebration held at this museum/venue. It was the PERFECT size and had great ambience. Additionally it is clean, modern and Black owned. If you need a space for under 50 people I highly recommend Urban Art Gallery!!

The owner of the gallery is really friendly and the event space is affordably priced and tables and chairs were provided. If you're looking for an intimate and cool setting to have an event and you want to support a black owned business, give them a try.

Great establishment in the community. Great exhibits monthly. We also rented the space for an event. Karl had everything well organized and ready for us when we arrived. Such a great gallery!
