Urban Fare Catering and Food Shop has been in operation since October 1996. Paul grew up in a family-run food business and built on that history and passion to drive his own business. Paul brings his wealth of experience in the menu planning, event design and catering to the needs of his guests. Eva’s background is in design and décor, and this is reflected in the comfortable and cozy food shop café that you will find when visiting. If you live in the area, you might remember Urban Fare’s Food Shop as the old Careful Cleaners building on Bathurst Street south of St Clair Avenue. Their prepared counter is the perfect spot for healthy prepared food items and gifts and is a favourite to the residents of Forest Hill, Wychwood Park and Hillcrest.
Today, Urban Fare Catering & Food Shop is a sizeable enterprise, with more than 35 employees and four separate kitchens. The staff continues to “wow” customers as they cook up Urban Fare food delights by fusing traditional flavours and together they have created a team whose expertise in the food industry are what makes Urban Fare Catering & Food Shop the successful operation it is today.
