Try a different way to relax. The salt float was so relaxing and I felt my muscles relax further. Despite the situation of COVID, I felt safe and the policies they have in place are great. The 3 step filtration system makes it safe. The amenities for the before and after experience make it all so complete. The beauty bar allows you to get ready for the rest of your day. Overall the experience was thoughtful, relaxing and lovely.
What an incredible experience. I was struggling with sciatica prior to my first visit and after just one session I had no more pain. I am a true believer that this will resolve many pain related issues. Another bonus is the state of the art facility oh and the staff are so absolutely friendly and helpful. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
This place is one of my favorites. We first started going here when we lived about 5 minutes away from the location. We’ve seen it grow over the years. All the positive changes and offers. We’re not regulars because we both have crazy schedules but if you’ve never floated or sauna-ed then this is the place to get your feet wet. They’re always so courteous and helpful. Supreme customer service! The owner was even amazing the couple of times I’ve briefly met here. Seriously, they are vets. Go no where but here.
I have been to a couple different float spas and this is my favorite. I signed up for a membership to get one a month. I would make sure to have your earplugs in and make sure any cuts are covered with the petroleum. Took me a few sessions to really dial it in but now I can have a great calming meditation sessions while floating. And I always get a great sleep the night of.
First time with float therapy, and I was very pleased with the whole experience. So much so I've already booked another session for a month from now. The owner and the rest of the staff were all very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and family for a way to heal the mind, body, and soul!
This place was superb from beginning to end. I was greeted by a pleasant employee and tranquil ambiance, immediately offered tea or water, and then directed to a calm waiting room to watch a short six minute video in preparation of my first float. Two very nice employees then gave a tour and walked me through each step. The float itself was sublime. Since it was my first time, it took me roughly twenty minutes to mentally and physically transition to a fully reposeful state. After the float, I was so relaxed I actually had to take a minute to fully awaken all my senses before taking the post-float shower. There’s also a lovely room near the back with everything provided—hair dryers, hair straightener, extra towels, lotion and other products, q-tips—truly everything. For the ladies, the lighting was perfect to do your makeup! It’s also worth mentioning during my visit I saw two separate employees deep cleaning. When I was finished and ready to pay, they simply mentioned the plans without coming off in a forced manner—which I genuinely appreciate during an inaugural spa visit. I ended up enjoying my experience so immensely I bought an unlimited package. TL;DR: staff is great and knowledgeable, spa itself was extremely calming and sterile, ambiance was excellent, and pricing affordable.
We've been to this location twice now and really liked it. Clean, bright and staff is friendly and excellent. We've floated twice and done the infrared sauna once. Enjoyed both. Highly recommend.
They're going out of business and not refunding for unused floats. We've been a member for years. I heard from someone I referred to them they're going out of business 6/30/2023. I inquired about our unused floats and they have no intention of refunding our monies. Donna VanCourt wrote saying we can use floats up by month's end or transfer them to others. 1 We can't use these up in the alloted time, nor do I know if it is safe to do so. 2 Those are expensive "gifts" to just give away AND it would take time to find people and coordinate with/between them and Urban Float to make this happen. So, we're out over $240!! I'll contact the credit card company to see if charges can be reversed. P.S. I asked why we, as members, didn't receive notice of them going out of business. She said it's because we unsubscribed to marketing emails. If going out of business is a marketing email instead of a transactional one, I can see why there are problems. Update to response below: 1 We transferred three floats to a friend. That's all she could use by month's end. Regarding remaining floats, I don't know who your members are to transfer any more nor do I want to put more time into this. Again, gifting these isn't the answer since we've paid for them. 2 We do receive transactional emails following floats. You're correct, though, that we unsubscribed from marketing emails and texts. The closing of a business isn't marketing. When it's regarding debits, credits, and balances ... that's transactional. Let me end by saying we were members because we enjoyed floats. Sorry to hear you are closing!
Finally tried a float experience after much procrastination. Hostess was excellent and welcoming. She explained the process in detail and made everything very relaxing. The facilities and experience were top notch. So much so that I purchased additional sessions. If you are on the fence about floating I would recommend doing so and choosing Urban Float in Westerville. Look forward to returning soon!
