UHIP implements a 360 approach to healthcare, with one of the fundamental principles of the program being patient education. We have found that when a patient is equipped with knowledge, they are much more likely to take a proactive approach to their healthcare. UHIP offers comprehensive health assessments, screenings, case management, educational programs, and support services to ensure the highest quality of care.
UHIP’s mission is to educate inner-city residents about health problems affecting their communities, to promote preventive care and regular medical screenings, and to coordinate the provision of health care services to individuals who may otherwise not have the ability to receive such services.
