They lost my mail as well. The sender shows the package still in Ohio since 9/6. The post office stated that the package was sent back to sender with no record of return shipping. No refund from sender and no remedy with the post office.
The lady was RUDE. I had a passport scheduled she had me call my fiancé to have him come up for my daughter. Then once he was about to be on the way she told me I had to reschedule? Why even have me call him to come up here. And she kept getting smart and rude tone with me
Anytime I have an issue, this local office has been super helpful. Whether it's finding a package lost in the black hole known as the Pontiac sorting center, or getting help with scammers saying the sent something to my house but didn't, this office is always extremely helpful and polite. The folks at the counter always seem very chill and relaxed as well. You can tell they've been there a long time and know exactly what they're doing. I wish all USPS offices were run like this one.
Clerks are helpful and friendly and work as quickly as possible getting through the lines that are waiting.
I am so tired of coming being the excuse for packages not being delivered. When the fact is when my regular carrier is off work and we have a substitute driver our packages pile up at the post office. The sub doesn't do their job adequately or is poorly supported by management to do so. Either way my package is at the sylvania branch post office and won't be delivered until my regular driver returns to work. Such a disappointment. Amazon should consider a different carrier since the post office has failed so miserably at meeting expectations. What happened to nothing stops the mail? Oh yeah nothing but an unwillingness to do your job!
I had two packages that had to out overnight express. I hate lines so I used the automated machine, which I use all the time, and it did not print my label after standing there & going through all the screens. Thank goodness it printed my receipt. So then I had to go stand in line after all and tell an employee that the machine didn't print. Well that employee was super nice & helpful, instead of just refunding me he came around & out, played with the machine & got my label to print. He was extremely helpful about getting the right box for my package and getting the correct info & putting the label in the right spot for me. I have never in my life had such a helpful & kind US Postal Service worker. He went above and beyond being kind, patient & helpful! Thank you Kevin for being so nice to a flustered person who was in a hurry! You're outstanding, thank you!
Lying about why they can't deliver mail packages on Saturdays. No one to sign? Yet package left in mail box the next day? No access to front door? Camera never showed them at the house. Other days they just don't deliver and it shows up a day or 2 later. Called them and they just don't care. Treated rude on the phone. And this was suppose to me their PostMaster.
I scheduled an appointment online in order to have my passport processed. However only after I arrived at my scheduled time was I told that the only lady capable of processing passports was not in today and that they don't offer appointments at this time anyways. Either fix your scheduling system or at least have the decency to call me to reschedule. Sloppy.
Our mail person gets our mail wrong every day. There are four units and they can't seem to figure it out. I deliver my neighbors mail daily. I had a package that didn't deliver from Amazon. I was told my address was incorrect! I have lived here 16 years, and get packages all the time. I just don't understand what is so difficult in reading an address. Maybe they need to hire some people with half a brain.
They continuously inserted mail into a PO box that had a forwarding address that had been properly and officially established. This resulted in bills being paid late. Postmaster was ambivalent. They billed us for that same PO box referenced above and placed the invoice INSIDE the PO box which had a forwarding address on it. Result? You got it - LATE PAYMENT with penalty they refused to waive. Carrier picked up the wrong stack of envelopes all of which had no postage on them as they had not yet been filled. Did not ask. Did not look. He just took them. Next: we will see them back with POSTAGE DUE and I am sure it will be our fault. Smiles are always hard to come by within this facility. Attitudes and culture always start from the top. Start there.
