Continuously disappointed in the level of service this institution provides. Maybe if they hired people who actually speak and understand English, and take some pride in the quality of their work, may improve this declining business. Simple and easily-avoided errors continue to permeate their operations and I dread having to deal with them over and over again.
I never asked for my mail to be held at the Orange City Post Office. Give me my mail. Sorry I can't get to the locker daily I have foot issues. Got some nerve holding my mail.
Wouldn’t leave my package without a signature for a vape battery and attempted delivery while I wasn’t home. I set up to pick up next day, showed up about 20 minutes after they opened and they couldn’t find my package. Turns out they sent it back out on a truck even though I told them I would pick it up and drove an hour from where I’m currently staying this week just to be told I can’t have my package because someone put it back on a truck and they told me to wait 3 hours and he would be at my house, too bad I have other errands to run and won’t be home. Cant follow simple instructions.
I wanted to give a huge shout out to Monique for opening the doors even after they were closed to take my two packages. It’s very appreciated for someone to take the time out of their day just to help another person out
Very welcoming, helpful, Very friendly staff.
After 5 weeks of waiting for a community mail box key and picking up my mail, I can't even get my mail now. They lost my key request form and locked my mail in the mail box. I CAN'T GET MY MAIL AT ALL!!! Most of us have real jobs and DO NOT have time for this ! To top it off, this may put me at financial risk due to lateness in getting bills!
I had some difficulty locating my packages at my metal mailbox, the post office manager took time out of his day to drive down and show me how to use my keys. I really appreciate the customer service; he went above and beyond my expectations.
The Orange City branch has been repeatedly horrible with outgoing shipments. On multiple occasions I have dropped off packages at the inside drop box and each time it has taken 2-3 days to scan the packages in the system then they sit dormant for a day or two before they get sent to Mid-Florida. By the time the package is shown as "In Transit" it is well past the 3-Day shipping I paid for. Dropped 7 packages on 11/27/2020 8:10AM and it is now 11/30/2020 3:30PM and none of the 7 have been accepted, more than likely still sitting in a bin. Drop off at Lake Mary and the packages are scanned and on the way within hours.
According to my tracking number from Barnes & Noble, package has been sitting at the post office for three days. Called the USPS 800 number, “delivery” to this location was confirmed, followed by the message “pending acceptance”. Tried calling the Orange City location to see why the package wasn’t delivered to my address - or if it’s still there for me to pick up at all! - and system disconnected me twice when no one picked up. Have a bad feeling this will not end well; someone else in my area has a new book I’ll bet...
For being a US Post Office the outside building is discussing. You are afraid to touch the door cause you don’t know hat deseases you can get. With all the glass you would think they would have a person that would clean the windows & doors. Inside near the mail boxes a little better but need to be pressured washed. People inside are very nice & respectful. PostMaster should look at his office and clean up the building I really wished I could post pictures spiderwebs on the inside of the windows or glass. Mildew and on the gutters dirty the entrance
