i stopped in after work today 12/20/22 to mail a package and i was in and out within 5 minutes. the female attendant was incredibly nice and made my experience smooth & quick. thank you again!
We did not receive mail for 3 days last week. I called and was told carriers were out sick with Covid. I was told mail did go late one day and the rest was going that day. When dealing with this post office we had no reason to believe that. It’s kind of impossible for most of my immediate neighbors to all not have mail needing delivering during this time. We are sympathetic to Covid and staffing issues but this is the US mail. People are waiting for a multitude of things…meds, checks, college info…the list is endless. What are we supposed to do when u post nowhere that this is happening? Why do we never take this post office at their word? Because they never ever acknowledge wrong doing or blame when they are to blame. I stopped using their window services years ago because of the incredible rudeness. Don’t know if that’s improved but be prepared that they are very frustrating to deal with.
Walked in, two women working. I approached the open window with an international package. She's says, oh no you have to wait for the other woman my computer only allows one international package daily.... really? I wait at the other window behind a international package. The postal employee finishes and says oh no my computer stopped working. They both look at me and say you'll have to wait a long time. The woman before me moves to the next line and the process begins all over. I walk out. What a joke.
This office absolutely ridiculous. I had two packages delivered today. The mail lady came to the front door to drop off the packages and spoke to a member of my family. There should have been a third package delivered that was out for delivery according to the USPS tracking. Shortly after she left the the package was marked undeliverable with no access to the address. She was at my front door!!! This happens all the time here. If I was this incompetent at my job I'd be fired. This is the boiler plate excuse for a botched on time delivery they give Amazon so they don't get dinged for late delivery. I'm just so discussted they deserve all the bad press they get.
Awful. They drop packages, clearly marked "fragile, over my 3' high front gate onto my walk because they refuse to open my gate. Evidently, they have concerns about a dog that MIGHT BE hiding in our 10x15' front yard. I don't have a dog. I've told them, I don't have a dog. This is after TEN YEARS, never a problem. Suddenly, my imaginary dog is a problem. I've had to pick up my mail for three weeks now until a "safety inspector" comes out to confirm it's safe for the carriers. My fence is slatted and 3' high. Supervisor, Karen, completely uncooperative and useless.
Was expecting a package Monday march 28 2022 I wasn’t home so they left a note I 1st attempt I was home the next t day she didn’t bring my package? Which makes no sense bc they are supposed to try 2 times she tells me sign the note and wheel bring it 3days later now ! And I do I get home the notes gone and she didn’t leave my package I can’t believe how unprofessional they are
I been waiting for two gift cards I bought on line for presents for my grandchildren. They never came after two weeks and then my neighbor came to my door with a hand full of mail they put in his box which belonged to me. I miss giving my grandchildren their birthday gifts by three days. The mail delivery has gone down hill for the past year. It is sad to think we got better service when we were were rural route.
It's Christmas Eve and my child's gift was supposed to be delivered yesterday. It got pushed to today. No problem. But the package never came and when I tracked it the website said they tried to deliver at 6:45 p.m. My daughter and I were home and close to the door that whole time. I called the 800 number that Amazon provided for USPS and got a recorded message saying they can't advise about local post offices. Very disappointed.
The letter carrier that comes to my address is awful. My mail is damaged half the time including a box marked fragile that looked like he kicked it. When entering AND leaving my building, instead of walking the eight feet to the sidewalk, he walks two inches in front of my window. There's no need for it, and it's a huge invasion of my privacy. I will be calling the supervisor and filing an official complaint. The only thing keeping me from giving a one star is that when I go to the post office to mail out packages, I usually get Elaine, who always is pleasant and efficient. You can thank her for the extra star.
Received a notice for missed Certified Letter on Friday 9/15/17. Filled in the blanks indicating it was ok to deliver to the house, signed and put in the mail for Monday 9/18/17. On Tuesday, 9/19 received ANOTHER notice only this time it says "Final Notice, will be returned to sender." Had to take time off from work to pick up the letter and was not happy with their service. Then, the clerk had to be VERY Rude and VERY unprofessional and announced LOUDLY so all the customers in the building could hear... "Well, it seems the IRS wants to get in touch with you." This was extremely humiliating. It's not my fault I was part of a mass layoff and am trying to catch up on my taxes. AND NONE OF ANYBODY ELSES BUSINESS!!! I highly recommend firing this person.
