Decent size post office with most services. Limited rental po boxes for such a large area covered by 97045. Only problem I have had is failure of mail holds, eg mail left in my roadside box when hold at office is active. Likely due to substitute delivery workers. Also, told that delivery digest by email has nothing to do with this office and does not mean that your mail piece will be delivered. I have email images of mail that I did not get. I trying to make everything paperless. Otherwise, I have had good experiences with the people here and rarely long lines.
I have a security gate and the mail carrier would frequently drop my packages over the gate or along the busy roadway in front of my house. Several of my packages and the items inside the packaging have been destroyed because they were left out in the rain. The mail carrier could easily press a button on my keypad to let me know they were doing this, or have me open the gate remotely and allow them in Which is what FedEx, UPS, and DHL do. When I called the USPS in Oregon City, it was rudely explained to me that they have a policy not allowing the carriers to even press a button on a security gate. Again, FedEx, UPS, and DHL can do it for some reason. Frustrating but I guess I should be happy that to my knowledge, none of my packages have been stolen at least.
I had an appointment to apply for a new passport several months ago. The clerk did not take my old passport along with my other documents even after offering it to him multiple times. I paid to expedite the passport and now on week 7 the final week I could possibly receive my passport I get an email saying I need to send in my old passport. Now I will not receive it in time and had to pay extra anyways. Needs more knowledgable employees and should not be doing passports if they are not qualified to do so.
I sent a package to a customer in Oregon City. A new USPS employee at this location could not deliver to residence due to a gate. USPS did not put a slip for pickup in the mailbox. When the customer called, they could not find the package. Three weeks later, it was still lost. Finally, it was miraculously found but no attempt to contact my customer or an attempt of another delivery was made. Instead, it was shipped as "Unclaimed" back to me and I was charged $11.74 just to get it back! What a racket! I don't know the level of incompetence at this location but guidelines and processes need to be reviewed and retraining needs to happen.
The lady staffs are friendly and nice people, but there’s a old white man is a package thief
Terrible service they always drop off my packages at random addresses along my street and I always get other people’s mail.
Patrick was complaining about the customers loud enough for the whole line to hear. Made the long wait even less pleasant.
This location is awful. There are not enough employees. The lines are long and its time for a couple people there to go.
Great and friendly service.
Stellar and helpful service.
