We put in a change of address well in advance of moving from our old address. We were getting regular mail but an Amazon package showed that it had been turned over to the PO, it had gotten to our mailbox but had been redirected when the carrier saw the address change. No tracking information for 10 Days. I finally went to the PO and they said they sent it to Tampa FL. When I ask why. They stated “That’s what we do.” A month, and the package is still in Fl. I understand they are short handed but incompetence should not be rewarded with raises. Some fun pics of the condition of the building with water leaking out of the camera on the ceiling into buckets on the floor.
I make a appointment for my passport but there is nobody there to work with passport when I arrived. Confusing……. What is the appointment means?! Also, I don’t receive any info about its happened. Really wasted my time.
Seems like everytime I come here something else is wrong. Covid allowed the leadership to have control and they have changed policies, staff that doesn't agree, hours and ways of operation as well as community support. Get a 24hr kiosk, it will be more helpful than this place.
My mail carrier either cant read or doesnt care. My packages end up at my neighbors all the time. Our houses are clearly marked.
On the 21st, I was at home working in my office. Person delivering a package pulled up, ran out of the car, did not knock, put a sorry we missed you sticker on my door and ran back to her vehicle and left. I've tried calling to re-deliver, but no answer. I've tried scanning the QR code, but it says invalid tracking number. They make wayyyy too much money to do absolutely nothing. Why are residents outside of Gadsden mandated to get mail here anyway?

Best place to renew passports! I made an appointment online and went there to renew my passport and #1 The lady was very sweet #2 as long as you have your information with you it will be a breeze. I loved my experience and people I know have told me they have had a similar experience as well. Very reliable place for passports.
I should give 0 star. I was out of town. I put a mail hold on my mail so nothing would be delivered to my house while I was away. A package tracking shows a package being delivered to my mailbox during the hold mail time. 3 days of calling with no one answering, and a physical visit to the Gadsden post office to find out GPS SHOWS package scanned not at my house, not near any house. No supervisor will return my calls . No supervisor available when I went to the post office. No excuse no apology NO PACKAGE and no accountability. We deserve better from the USPS. There have been multiple issues over the last few year. Many many missing packages and misplaced mail. No customer service. NO EXCUSE!
The customer service is absolutely terrible to nonexistent. I say this because the post office always send a new mail carrier to my address that doesn’t even know the route or simply how to use a GPS either, so whenever I’m expecting packages or very important mail, it’s a gamble on rather I’ll actually get it or not on those specific days. Even if they do give me some of my mail and/or packages, they usually leave something out. So if I don’t receive everything right then and there, then I’ll have to go to the post office in person the next day to retrieve my mail that was left out and my packages that were left behind because it’s like trying to find gold to get ahold of a real person on the phone because they usually ignore the calls and barely ever actually answer the phone. USPS sucks terribly, I truly wish that I could have all of my packages delivered ONLY by FedEx, UPS, or some other more reliable delivery service.
Called about a package that had been at the Post Office for 14 days but never scanned in as being received at that location according to the online tracker. An employee checked and stated it was definitely not there and they would check with our carrier. It was delivered the next day. Thank you for following up and finding my package.
