The worst post office that we have had. The don't pick up the phone, they don't complete scheduled pickups when our normal amazing carrier is out - even when they deliver a package 3 feet away from the pickup. When they say they'll take care of it - in person or on the phone, they don't. When they say that they'll call back, they don't. I've probably complained more than 40 times not exaggerating. The same problem 7 years later - you think they'd fix it rather than ignore it or put a band aid on it. If it wasn't for our normal carrier who is reliable and nice, they'd get -10 stars.
If you enjoy the experience of going to the dmv, this is the place for you. Lemme tell ya, the wait to even see the front of the line will be about 45 minutes. This place is a joke. They only have two staff members there at all times and this location is one of the few that processes passports. You would think that they should have a better system in place but then again, it wouldn’t be the US Government if they did. If they go out of business, it’s their own fault.
I would like to thank the most professional workers that I have ever seen here. Their names are Aundre, Ashlee and Spatttling. Cynthia Bunch and Mr. Tony we're great before they retired. I had a delivery related problem that turned into an issue. It took all three of them to help me resolve it! This crew of postal workers are kind and focused on giving out the right results. I found that most of us are impatient in line and we respond negatively to the workers when we don't get an immediate response that we like. I wanted to encourage others to be more kind to these workers. The lines are longer but the resolutions are good and professional, when one waits with patience. Often times I see people in a rush leaving happily but those people rarelycomment here. Again thank you!
The absolute worst post office. They don't scan the packages for tracking and don't ship them out when received. It shouldn't matter where a post office is located, the standards should be the same everywhere. You're doing a disservice to the community and you should be ashamed.
Located in Lithonia, Ga. Staff was nice and friendly. Masks must be worn at all times. Only 2 people allowed inside at a time to be helped. Clean, quiet and professional. Check out my pics for more info
The word for this USPS location is "pathetic"! I have never came to this location with expediting service. I have always waited 30 plus minutes for service! The line is longer than a cheater with excuses. The location is filthy! The floor is currently covered in paper, leaves, cigarette butts, etc. The trash cans are covered in spill stains, the base boards look as if they've never been cleaned. It's filthy here and that's sad. If you happen to have a bad back and you're coming to this location to have something mailed, please bring yourself a folding chair. The wait line is always not over generalizing 30 to 45 minutes long. I'm so disappointed in this USPS.
Tracking number states mail person delivered my box to a locker that is outside the apartment building for anyone to pick up. There is no package there now!! Why didn't they deliver it to my door? Where is my package? Did anyone take it, maybe so. Very poor service!!
Very unprofessional location, the post office should think about retraining some of their employees. I really felt that I was lied too about shipping a box. I was informed that I could pay extra for priority 2days instead of 5 days. Well it didn't work out, I went back to post office to find out what happened. I was treated badly! In so many words I was told there is no guarantee on priority, it gets there when it does That's what the clerk told me. Why offer this extra service for a fee with no guarantees.? I would have been better off paying for regular postage. Update: I was dropping off package today and this post office is still the absolute worst! Now you have to wait in the lobby to be called by the clerk.
Mail always arrives super late! One day after 9pm. They lied and said they attempted to deliver a package at 9:15 pm, then held my package at the post office.
It's not one USPS employee at this location that has passed or even attempted to complete high school. Every single package that's delivered by them always ends up at the wrong house in my entire neighborhood. We literally have HOA meetings talking about ways to not use USPS for this neighborhood. I wouldn't care if they closed the entire USPS down Amazon, UPs, FedEx, and DHL are better. If you want awful service please use USPS they'll make sure to deliver awful service 100% each time
