The lady Laura is very rude and unprofessional and makes you spend more than what is needed when certifying mail without signature she says must complete the 2nd green paper BUT that is NOT TRUE--- only one expense is required or both when You Want it signed and returned to you it is not mandatory to use both all the time. Glad to have had this matter cleared with an honest post office representative. Laura keeps getting complaints by many but no attention from post office general manager. Why??
I went to this post office and I had priority return label. My package didn’t taped very good and the lady over counter said we don’t tape. Buy tape or go tape it. I surprise because it was priority return label. I went to other post office and the person who was working taped very nice and said when it’s proiority mail we have to tape it.
This location doesn't respect the hours for the box pox and lobby. Few years ago it was a great location, it was open until 12am. Now, they close it when they want. If the hours says 5am to 4pm, they close it at 3pm.
Just want to give some kudos to the Tarzana Post Office in California. They went out of their way to assist me with the delivery of a package. This seems to be unusual these days as the sender would not help nor would DHL, the original carrier. I want to thank them as this package contained some needed items for a friend’s wedding and I would not have received it in time if they had not shown compassion and great customer service. I know the USPS gets some bad press sometimes but I think they deserve some credit. They might take a little longer than the private delivery services but the packages always arrive consistently within a reasonable time. Thank you Tarzana Post Office for going above and beyond.
Today 07/02/2022, at Tarzana Post Office 91356 I was treated horribly by the sales associate named Laura. I have never been treated like this before in my life. I arrived about 5 minutes before closing bringing 4 packages. I proceed to go to Laura's counter and asked her to give me a custom declaration form. She told me that the post office was closing soon and I ensured her I would fill out the form fast as I had only one international package. She started to help me with the package. For several times, she asked me to correct my form with sour attitude, but then there was another customer passing by and she was being so friendly to him. I said okay, maybe she was being sour to me as I came at the last minute. At this point, the supervisor had closed the main entrance of the office and there was only me. I felt so really bad as I had another 3 other domestic packages and I would cause her to finish work late. While she was filling out the information at the computer on my international package, I saw the other associate lady was free and proceeded to bring my other packages to her. I asked her if she could help me scan them as they had pre-paid label already. She was gladly to help me when suddenly Laura was so rudely yelling at me, " SO NOW YOU WANT HER TO HELP YOU, GO AHEAD! HERE YOUR PACKAGE!" she was yelling and handing out the package toward the other cashier lady and I was so shocked to hear what she did. I told her, " I am trying to save your time so that you do not have to help me with the rest of my packages, so you can leave work as soon as possible!" she was still being hostile, and yelled" DID I ASK YOU TO MOVE TO HER REGISTER?" I replied to her, " No you did not, but I just felt bad that you would help me with the rest of my packages as the office is closed already, so I was trying to save your time by asking the other associate to help me." at this point, she was accusing me that I moved to another cashier because she was taking so long in helping me with my international package. I told her, " i did not mean anything like that, i was just trying to save your time." She was being so rude and hostile toward me. I have always highly treated people with respect in my life and I had never had any bad intention. I live in this neighborhood for 3 years and I visit your post office in a weekly basis, but Laura has treated me horribly today. I do hope that it will never happen again to me or other customers. Thank you
The larger picture of what you all do out of kindness to the 157million plus units you serve and 30thousand locations is mind boggling. Thank you.
Horrible customer service . I paid for expedite shipping and they didn’t deliver on the scheduled date The package was deliver late. I went to this location and was treated with hostility for no good reason .I explained to them what happened and they were asking for a receipt . I mention I had the tracking number along with a picture of the Receipt I took so they could verify all the info and still refused to give the refund . The supervisor in this location awfully rude . Lesson learned on my end . keep your receipts people .
Pure nepotism as its best. I had a package being delivered when i was on vacation and I had to pay USPS to hold it at our local post office which is 1.5 miles away from my home. I processed the request online, it showed me the address and location of where the package would be delivered, there was even a fee that I gladly paid since I was worried about porch pirates. When I showed up to pick it up, the rude woman working the counter told me that I did not live in Tarzan and thus should not be there. My license says Tarzana, my car registration, my utility bills everything says Tarzan! She told me that I should try Reseda since it seemed that this would probably be where I belong. My package would absolutely not be in Tarzana as it is impossible for my stuff to go there. I told her that I selected the Tarzana post office since the USPS website showed that was the closes to my home and even took payment. I tried to show her the receipt, email confirmation from USPS saying it had been delivered there and she refused to even look up the tracking information. She pointed out that both the DMV and California where wrong about where I lived as she seemed to know where I should belong. Flat out refused to look at anything outside my ID, even though its shows Tarzana right on it. I drove to the Reseda post office that is over 7 miles away from my home. The agent there told me that the package had been returned by the Tarzana post office to the sender. Not only did I have to pay, but the way I was treated by the woman at the Tarzana location was unwarranted. All she had to do was check the tracking number and see the information, instead she saw me and didnt believe that I would live in this neighborhood. Is it too hard to just do your job and look things up, dont judge people by what they look like. If someone has multiple sources showing the information how hard is it to check.
Mean old lady,of course Gov. Job I asked if i can put the boxes on an empty counter, she told me is a drop box, with no handle ,just use your hand,,what is so hard, very uncomfortable box to drop
This post office is rife with inept and corrupt workers who will charge you for using tape
