Moved to this city about three months back. Even did change of address, bought a new mail box from Amazon, because it is a brand new house and followed all requirements, it wasn’t enough for Post Master of Zip-code 90260. Few weeks latter went to ask mail is not coming he said that you need to move the mailbox in front of a house that don’t belong to me. Beside every house on this neighborhood have their boxes in front of their own house. After, post master told me, that I will let you know where to put it. Waited one more month and finally called and spoke with him and asked why am I not getting the mail still??!! I went to get the mail where they have collected and not notified, he showed a picture where to put the mail box. It was a retaining wall belongs to the neighbor. I asked the neighbor and do to his kindness, my neighbor agreed to it. About three months later I sent to them a picture of a new place, where Post Master suggested and I asked him that the bills are late for about two months do to his behavior. Instead of apologizing I got a sarcastically voice: “You will”. Anyone who is reading this post: Have you ever heard anything like it? Beside there is no mailbox around the neighborhood. No place for outgoing mail. Only inside the post office on their working hours. Very disappointed citizen of this city.
The gentleman today was very rude and didn’t want to assist me. I ask them to send my packages first class or cheapest possible. It was about 30 small envelopes with different weights. However, he was so lazy that he told Me that he’ll weigh one and give me the stamps for all of them because they were short staffed. No other location has an issue doing this for me and they were short staffed as well. I left and will never go back. The service provided left a bad taste for me.
The worst service, rude clerks, no one is ever happy there. Recently had to deal with a supervisor to inquire where is my package after sending it out 6 weeks ago with express priority mail to be delivered in 3-5 days. He was so rude, told me “google it”, closed the window on me, and refused to say his name! Wow! It was an older asian gentleman. Although its closest location to my home, im gonna drive 10 min to Manhattan Beach from now on. Such a terrible place!
The cant seem to get their job right. They are issued keys to open mail boxes.. instead they put the mail in the parcel "OPEN" boxes below. Numerous calls and speaking with supervisor-Mrs Robinson RUDE... Managers do not call you back. The same bad delivery keeps happening. Who is running that station?
This PO used to be great, but recently it has taken a bad turn. Never had I had packages lost and recently I had 2 that were given to the wrong person. Lines are also too long for the wait. What a shame.
Scheduled a passport appointment at this post office. Waited weeks, pulled kids out of school to make it happen. Showed up early, waited in line. Then find out from the clerk all appointments were cancelled that day. No notice otherwise. Checked email. Nothing. One star because there was no notice, explanation, nor signage anywhere in the place that appointments were cancelled.
Rating: Negative 5 stars -- I waited two weeks for my passport appointment at the Lawndale Post Office. When I arrived, I was told that the passport person was "out" and no one else could help me. When I complained, I was told "I personally called everyone to notify them". Funny, I never received a phone call. The good news, I called the PV post office and was given a same day appointment.
We had an appointment for passport processing and had excellent service. They called us in before appt time. Mary was absolutely professional and so nice. Processed passports for both of my daughters within 20 min. NOTE: This location does NOT do passport photos anymore. Be prepared before showing up to your appointment.
Terrible service I recommend going to Joes Postal Center instead they do everything for you at a affordable price
People are being too harsh. The worst part about this post office is the parking but the staff is great, thank you Mary!
