This isn’t so much an experience of their building, but their distribution…. Easily the slowest district I’ve ever been in. And at least once a week, they just don’t deliver mail. And I don’t mean on Sunday… I mean a package will say arriving Friday, and then it will mark as out for delivery Friday morning…. And then no mail comes, none at all, my neighbors don’t get mail… they just decided to not work that day. Then some days I’ll have a package out for delivery and then it when it doesn’t get delivered I check and the status update says something like “unable to deliver, no access to address”…. And this is not during some blizzard… this is just a random beautiful day…. It as absolutely pathetic. Whoever runs this post office should be fired for cause. 3 weeks since making this review, I had a package show up, that showed delivered a month ago. And two packages that say delivered yesterday in mailbox, that aren't delivered. So either your mailman is dyslexic and can't read numbers- or you're just a bunch of liars.
They are the definition of worthless. I paid $11 to get an envelope somewhere in 2 days. Well it's been 4 days and it has only gone about 19 miles, seriously its only gone from shakopee to minneapolis in 4 days. Am i in the twilight zone or just joe bidens america ? When I called they basically told me oh well you should've paid more to get it there faster and b/c you didn't pay more it doesn't qualify for a refund. Thanks alot shakopee usps. No wonder 1 star reviews dominate their reviews.
I had a package marked as delivered when it wasn't. After reporting the packages as not delivered, I was contacted by Kevin, who helped me locate my package. Kevin was very polite and went above and beyond to make sure I recieved my package. Thanks Kevin!
This is the worst post office in the state. I have time sensitive medications that have to be delivered by mail, and these jackwagons don't deliver 6 days a week like everyone else. I've had my Rx delivered to the wrong house 5x. I'm filing a complaint with my insurer and prescriber who are consistently on time.
I have been at a new address for two weeks and my mail is still not been delivered , I call the post office in Shakopee and they never answered, I understand they’re short of employees , although long time ago a very nice employee named Gary answered and he was very helpful, maybe he’s not longer there
What is going on with the Shakopee USPS ? I used to get mail every weekday by 11:30 am. Now my mail comes once or twice a week and then the delivery is after 4:00 pm. Recently the mail carrier arrived at 6:00 pm. I subscribe to a weekly newspaper that is mailed out every Wednesday from Minneapolis. For years it would be delivered on Thursday. Now it comes on the following Monday. Sometimes it does not arrive at all. I sent a birthday card to my Grandson in Waconia. It took three weeks to arrive from Shakopee. What is going on ???
Terrible customer service. I waited in line for 20 minutes to return a package and when I finally got to the front the lady at the front desk extremely rudely told me my box wasn’t taped shut correctly and she won’t take it. I get better customer service at a dollar store.
I just moved to Shakopee and I’m a frequent USPS customer… Impressed every time by the service I get the counter. Very nice people always working hard… Very impressed!
I haven’t gotten mail in 10 days yet they come to the house to deliver packages. I’m no expert on mail delivery but there has to be a better way.
I did a very large mailing 4946 pieces of mail to be exact and I had done it completely wrong. Not one person at this location was rude or demeaning. They took their time to help figure out what was wrong, provided me with paperwork so I could do it correctly next time, and processed my mailing for me. I was not able to get the manager's name before I left, but I do remember Connie was helping me and another very nice woman at the other cash register assisted. This is a great postal office with very wonderful, hard working individuals.
