I rarely go to the post office anymore, but when I do, the employees are always helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. This is a convenient post office located downtown Belton with a drive-thru drop box and post office boxes.
The carriers for this office do a terrible job. I put 2 outgoing letters in my mail box with the flag up on Wednesday night and here it is Thursday night at 8pm and the 2 letters are still in my mail box. Either the carrier never delivered to my area or the carrier ignored the bright red flag being up on my box.
The supervisor is rude. When I explained I had no mailbox and needed mail forwarded to different address, I was told he was personally making sure I no longer get any mail delivered anywhere and also refused to even hold my mail without me purchasing a pobox which I can't afford and the mail is to get my backed up rent paid so he's guaranteeing I will be kicked out because the check was supposed to come today. Thanks for nothing
Poor service! Multiple times now USPS has left my customers orders sitting out side in 100 degree heat because the agent is to lazy to walk up to the door to pick up outgoing packages. DO BETTER!
Can’t get my registration sticker delivered to me… State delivered to the USPS here in Belton on June 17, today is June 27th and still no sticker! In fact I haven’t received anything for the past 5 days! I wish the State of Texas would use UPS or another reputable company to make sure people get their registration stickers !
At 1630 hrs on Wednesday, 16 March, I arrived at the Belton Post Office, hoping to be able to quickly drop off a prepaid package to be mailed. The address label with prepaid postage was appropriately attached. I realized that the Post Office closes at 1630 hrs but was hopeful that someone would quickly assist me and take my package. After waiting 10-15 minutes, the door to the Post Office work area opened and I was "greeted" by a Post Office employee, an angry young women, who spoke to me with anger, annoyance, and in a very demeaning manner. Instead of simply taking my package, she instructed me to take it through another door and drop it in a metal bin. She acted like any normal person would know how to do this but it would have been helpful if there were actually instructions and appropriate labeling to assist those customers who had never been through that process before. I realize that the young lady was likely anxious to leave work, but that simply does not excuse her actions. In private industry, employees would cause customers to take their business elsewhere I certainly hope that my Asian heritage did not influence her behavior.
This is an old post office in Belton and the only post office. Typical post office in that it is unclean, cluttered and has poorly trained employees. I try to use UPS whenever possible but sometimes get stuck with the US Postal Service. Do they ever have more than 1 person working?
I never choose usps for my packages, but recently Amazon has been handing my packages over and yall are nothing but infuriating to deal with. my husband was home today and my package was never even attempted to be delivered, but it was withheld because you "couldn't access". why is it amazon, ups, fedex and all over delivery services i ever deal with, they can access JUST FINE! i know you all refuse to leave it on my door step, but have we gotten to a point where you won't even knock on the door to just hand it to us???
I called this morning to verify the closing time for this post office. I was informed it was closing at 12 noon. I would have to hurry to get to the post office before closing. As I was preparing to go, I received a phone call from the staff member whom I had talked to this morning about closing time and informed me the closing time was 2 pm. He didn’t have to call me to let me know the time but with the holiday rush this staff member made the time to call me re: the closing time. I wish all the staff at the Belton Post Office a Blessed Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year.
I really appreciate the professionalism and the best customer service I have been getting from the staff at the Belton’s post office with no exception all of staff went out of their way to help me including the boss. I wish I can name all of them but Jessi is exceptional. They are the role model for our federal employees. Keep the good work.
