Been coming here for years and this location services my home address. I've shipped hundreds of packages at this location. Never had a problem. The USPS has really stepped up their website too. Offering free package pickups at your home and the daily "Informed Delivery" scans of your mail are really amazing. It has helped me locate "lost" mail twice. A++
People who work inside the post office are great. Whoever delivers on my route however must be real lazy. Multiple times I’m expecting something and when I go to my mailbox, there’s a carrier note that they missed me. Every time this has happened I was at home. The carrier never makes an attempt to actually go to my home which then I end of needing to go into the post office to get pick up whatever it is that wasn’t delivered.
This is consistently the best in person post office I've been to. So good, that I'm actually writing a google review for a post office. The staff is always friendly even during the lunchtime chaos; Pao is probably the best in office USPS employee I've worked with.
Worst post office ever… constantly getting mail for other addresses.. have they dumbed down the civil service exam
If it's my normal mail carrier, everything is fine, if it's not, I've got a 50/50 change of my mail going to my neighbors, and theirs to me. Get on your staff about looking at the addresses and the addresses on the mail to make sure they've got the right house. Might help if earbuds were banned while out for deliveries.
The lady that delivers my mail I think she steals my packages. Just ordered over $100 worth of hair products to be delivered. Well the tracking says it's been delivered but I don't have it and nobody can find it. So I'm sure she took my hair products. Have had problems with this post office for many years now. Have asked them to deliver pkgs to my door or drop it at the managers place or just keep it and I will pick it up. They don't care nor do they listen and I really think the mail lady steals my packages.
Holidays were a nightmare when it comes to pkg. delivery, 1 package said “delivered” but still ghosting me. I live in an apartment building and the delivery conf. Said left on “porch”, wait whaaa?! Go to location for options, woman at front snooty, asked if I cld. Have mail held, help avoid thefts -snooty lady goes into a rant about “if everyone held their mail...” and I reply “I’m not everyone” after that upsetting moment I put mail on hold over holidays. Have since received everything else expecting but not without having to run to the door every 10 minutes or so because although mail held, I get alerts that pkgs were out for delivery and I just can’t trust it, Luckily I have someone at home days that can look out. Location has metal detectors, haven’t noticed other locations with that. Unfortunately I could go on with the negatives but I’ll end it with a positive. A guy, said his name was Brian, answered phone rather quickly, told him got notice pkg. out for delivery although held, didn’t want to waste trip to pick up, he confirmed carrier had it but that he could call him and have him deliver to me instead of bringing back and I thought that was very nice of him and he was pleasant. We get multiple mailmen/women and there is one guy that is also pleasant, the one who delivered the package per Brian.
This is the worse post office in St. Paul with the worse racist postmen and rude postal staff. I have missed days of work, school, and other events waiting for mailmen who would rather leave me a note, imstead of deliver my package when all they had to do was ringy buzzer. When I called to complain, all you get is attitude from their postmaster, who basically makes excuses for his mailmen and treats you like a liar. If I could avoid never using or getting mail thru USPS, I never would again. Sadly, we have no choice and USPS does not care about racist attitudes by its postal staff.
Worst place ever! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. These people are the rudest of the rudest and seem like everyday is horrible. Not only have I had bad experience with the workers. I shipped out a computer that was packaged basically brand new. Usps completely DESTROYED my whole entire computer and you cannot file a claim if you don't purchase insurance. I was never offered or told about insurance considering it was already $53.00 causing me to pay out of pocket for the whole thing. I would drive the extra miles to work through UPS or FedEx since they know how to treat their constumers with loyalty and respect. This is a place I will NEVER go to again.
Old mailman with glasses working today March 16th 2022 just left my package at the door in the apartment which I am told they are NOT suppose to do. Was it too much work to walk 8 steps and knock on my door? Dude needs to be fired or retire.
