My friends think the post office is my second home considering how often i like sending mail. I have been to many branches and this location is a nice one. The PO boxes are right when you enter and the counter is towards your left. The staff are usually nice as well and do their work diligently. If you are unsure of something they could always answer your questions. They will also ask the shipping method you prefer. If you don't prefer to stand in line for long, you could always come at an odd hour slower time of the day which is typically after the morning and afternoon rush. A few times I had issues with packages and they did their best to assist me.
It’s a hit or miss with this location. You can either have a great experience or it’ll be the worst experience and have your day ruined. Luckily for me the day I went it was a pretty decent experience the guy in the front was friendly and very helpful. Last time my girlfriend went there was a very rude woman in the front whose attitude made it hard to get anything done. If you come to this USPS be prepared for anything.
John is the best, never complains, always hardworking. No matter the work loan, he handles it with ease, a smile, and positivity. He is the best in this office. Efra also a great worker, does his work very diligently and professionally.
Terrible service ! This morning the lady working in front just walked away as I was asking for help and told me “I never seen you before” and rudely went to the back . I wouldn’t recommend this place when that kind of staff is on shift. Drive another 10min to lynbrook we’re the staff is much more professional !
I only ever visit this branch because of their great service. The lines are never as long as compared to literally every other post office. Every single person that has helped me here was very nice and completed my service quickly. This location, at least when I go, is always relatively quiet and never extremely busy. I'll probably never go to another post office branch besides this one ever again.
I have a PO Box at this post office and I recieved 1-2 pieces of mail every week. One important letter I was waiting was deemed "lost" and I believe the post office has it, they're just lazy and don't care about their job. I say this because my package was deemed "lost" and come to find out, it was at the front desk this whole time. I wasn't given a yellow slip to inform me so, I asked about it. I'm canceling my PO Box ASAP and giving my business to another post office. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

On 8/20 mailed package at PO going to Suffolk. County. Requested 2 day delivery. Clerk asked what was in pkg & when I answered a book, unbeknownst to me, sent it Media Mail. 3rd. Class. Then it was put in wrong bin & instead of being sent to LI center, it went to New Jersey. I wrote to Postmaster & wasn’t even given courtesy of reply. Wrote to regional PO Center who looked into it & FINALLY after 41 days package was delivered.
Carrier made a mistake and didn't leave my mail with me. Called up and got an extremely polite gentleman on the phone I wish I had gotten his name so I could shout him out. He went above and beyond to help me with my issues and even got my mail delivered today despite already being missed. Excellent service, great staff.
