I don’t often share reviews on Google but I am today because of the way I was treated at this location. I arrived with a box to ship out but it wasn’t closed because I’d just picked up the last of the items I needed for it. I also wasn’t sure if I would mail it priority or not. When I asked the girl which she recommend she was very unhelpful and then she stated that it wasn’t taped. To which I replied yes, I’m out of tape and why. She then loudly asks the guy next to her what they do for people who don’t have tape and he then loudly says back “I usually tell them I’ll do it this one time but next time being it taped.” Both of them acted like I wasn’t there. So I ask again about priority mail and she is again annoyed that I’m asking for clarification. I decide to go with prioritizing mail and she AGAIN brings up the tape issue. I have never ever had this type of experience. They’re usually kind enough to offer to tape it for me. Then as I’m leaving she goes into the priority mail breakdown. Instead of being met with the kindness that I receive at other locations I was embarrassed and wishing I’d never decided on this location. Do better.
I have tried calling 4 times in a row. Keeps ringing until it goes to a screwy sounding busy signal. No one ever answers. Terrible service. And they want to charge more money! For what! Their incompetence! If I could give them -5 stars, I would.
I absolutely adore all of the employees at this location! They're always so kind and always make sure everything is exactly how you need it. I'm someone who frequents once to twice a week as I ship out things. I haven't had a single issue with them and I've been using this USPS location for YEARS! You guys are awesome Keep up the amazing work and fabulous customer service!!
My mail has been messed up numerous times by these incompetent employees. The staff here are not friendly or helpful at all. They don't put the customer first. I hate that I have to come to this post office. The one downtown is soooooo much better. The woman who "helped" me was very rude and didn't know what she was doing. She went to the back and disappeared. They think that your time is not valuable so they waste it because they are being paid to stand around. I would give 0 stars if I could. I have had many others tell me about how rude the workers are here. Unfortunately, this is the post office I have to go to
Today makes the second time my package was put in the wrong parcel box and never received. Even had to run mail truck down to get a package I was tracking because she wouldn't bring it upstairs to my apartment because the parcel box was full. when you try to call post office no one taking calls.
I frequently mail packages to Japan from other USPS locations with no issues. This was my first time mailing an overseas package from this location. Because it said "Tokyo" and "Japan" on the package, the USPS worker accused me of not addressing the package "in English." I only read/write English, so this was an odd thing to say. She didn't like the way in which Japanese street numbers and zip codes are written, and accused me of writing the address incorrectly, even after I pulled up the full address in Google and showed her. She then ranted that: "This is America and we don't mail packages unless the addresses are written in English." She called her manager over twice but he repeatedly told her that I was correct, and just to enter the information into the computer system to ship my package. When I asked for tracking information, she told me a tracking number was "impossible due to COVID" although I've always received tracking from other USPS locations for international shipments during the pandemic. Unsurprisingly, my package never made it to Tokyo and was "lost" in the mail. Shame on this USPS location for allowing this level of microaggression. Many BIPOC customers had to witness this woman's ignorant behavior. If you want to mail a package, especially overseas, try a more open-minded USPS location that caters to all customers.
I hate to leave bad reviews. But as a business owner I request pickups quite often and I would say 1 out of 10 times are they actually fulfilled. Normally I’d just be annoyed but since this is my business I usually only have express orders via usps and thus quite important. Yet I almost always have to drive them to the post office and at this point they are late and I am bearing the repercussions. I have requested assistance at the physical office several times and never been contacted nor seen any increase in service.
The worst in Lex. They refuse to answer their phones, forcing you to make a trip in person. The staff are generally surly and make their mistakes your problem, with no accountability. Packages to PO Boxes are returned as “unknown addressee” when the addressee is both known and on the recipient list; they’re happy to give you endless piles of old renters’ junk mail, though! Avoid if you have any choice.
THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AT THIS BUILDING... YOU CAN NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH NOMORE!!!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!
I tried calling over a period of several hours over something time sensitive, and only got a constant busy signal? Is a 56k modem taking up their single phone line? After eventually getting a hold of the manager though, they were very nice. However, while they claimed they would have my package forwarded to the post office, they forwarded it to a different address which will take 7-10 days.
