Usps drivers are subject to obeying local traffic laws and ordinances just like any other citizen. However, the Postal Service cannot legally be billed for any traffic violation fines incurred by its employees. Employee “Misty” refused to exchange information requested so we can contact insurances and let them do their thing after a collision. The woman Misty parked behind me in a blind spot when not just two but at-least 7 parking spaces open. Her negligence and careless behavior has now accrued $400 plus emotional and psychological distress. Contact me Supervisor.
We experienced a flood disaster and our facility has one road open to receive mail and they wont deviate and take Indian canyon to deliver.. This doesn't serve the residence of this city and when you could make accommodations with your route and delivery drivers. UPS and FED Ex have no issue. I went to the post office today and the doors were open but did not realize you closed at 12pm. I was in line and it was 12:03 and you refused to take me.. I'm the only one in line and you could not take me. There were 3 people working, one male employee and two females at the counter. So much for going above and beyond for your citizens.
I'm feeling like the drivers are stealing packages... in the last month I have had 6 packages stated as "delivered". Today, I actually watched the driver who delivered no package but as he drove off I received a message it was delivered "on my porch". 6 in the last month! I drove down to the Post Office location and complained but highly doubt anyone cares there. Someone needs to get ahold of the Post Master or escalate this. This is fraud.
Terrible service and lazy employees Waited for a package all morning only for the delivery person to drop off a note saying they missed me. Figured no problem I’ll wait for my package at the end of their route. Staff was rude and visibly wanting me out of there. Locked up behind and left me waiting. As I pulled out the mail truck was arriving
According to reviews this Post Office has a huge problem with packages and mail being lost or stolen. I had a package put on hold at this place for one week back in January and it completely vanished. According to tracking it was sent to Moreno Valley for some unknown reason but my thoughts are that there is theft among post office employees. The asian supervisor there is absolutely useless ...will not return phonecalls and if you do manage to get her on the phone she pretends to go get information and never comes back to the phone....yet she is a supervisor???? If you value your packages do not deal with this post office if you can help it. Pathetic that post office employees steal a package of socks and slippers meant for my 92 year old mother's birthday in Europe. Something seriously needs to be done about the problems with this post office.
Sylvia. She's a carrier that will leave your package in an open driveway and in plain sight. We DO have a picket fence/gate with a camera where the majority of delivery drivers with common sense leave our packages. Desert Hot Springs is a rural area, people steal packages here A LOT. You would think she would know this after delivering here for years but no. Without using her common knowledge she claimed she delivered my large package/box on the side door of my home where we have a very accessible open driveway and so it was extremely visible shipping label and all in a large box as she claimed because to her it looked like the front door. She insisted she left it at my home however she very well could have just left it at the wrong house as she has done that before. She left my package previously at a different space number than mine. Our space number is right in front of our house. Years ago she took a package and did not leave me the key to the package box for our park. I had to go in asking for it and retrieve it at the post office. Also, Ana at your mail center lacks that heartwarming energy. She is cold. She's impatient when someone doesn't know the correct tracking number. Unfortunately after these 3 incidents I won't be having anything delivered here anymore. Until Sylvia is re-trained or let go i encourage you to revise her routs. I'm sure this happens a lot with her.
I have had nothing but xlnt service in all the years ive been using this facility. Always friendly and fast Never lost a pkg or piece of mail
Well when you are running under cover surveillance operations you don’t have time for peoples mail important documents registrations validations and so forth sheesh
about 10% of employees give a cr*p. they hire literally anybody so service concerning delivery and otherwise is poor. 10 years ago they used to attempt deliveries of parcels and such 2 or 3 times, now they just stop by once and you have to go pick up your own stuff even though you've paid shipping charges. like many have said it's the worst US Post Office I've ever dealt with in my life but then again most folks move here for the weather and not the service and that applies valley wide not just Desert Hot Springs.
For it being the only post office in the city of many many, they keep their cool usually, dealing with the very very long lines. Pretty friendly, kind of messy and unorganized inside
