Have been going to this post office for a few years now and it’s consistently great staff. They always know what they’re doing and are helpful. They also are friendly and patient with their customers. I have been to post offices in other seasons of my life when I lived in other cities, but this Clemson one is by far the best run PO that I have had experience with.
I had no trouble at all getting our passport applications in order. I had appointments for my 3 kids and myself. It was taken care of quickly and in a timely fashion. We even finished 30 minutes earlier than expected. I appreciate the help getting this squared away! :
I run a small business where I ship boxes EVERY DAY. This post office branch is so much more accommodating than other post offices that are actually closer to me. I am greeted warmly and exchange small talk as they provide the service I need. I appreciate that they are quick, so if you have to wait in line, it's doesn't take too long. In addition, they give me helpful suggestions or advice on the type of box or service that would be best. Great group of people!! Trust me, visit a few other local post offices and you'll be thankful for your Clemson team! Only wish the post office had longer window hours on Saturday only open 1 hour. I know it's a thankless job...so if you're in need of their services, please give them a sincere Thank you...they deserve it.
Customer service that went above and beyond! The postmaster personally delivered a perishable package to my student when the campus and student post office center was closed due to weather. I am blown away by the care this gentleman took in getting the package delivered! Thank you for renewing my belief in customer service! This was, by far, the best experience I have ever had with the U.S. Post Office.
Their parking lot is one way only, but there is only one sign saying so. You can only see that one sign if you come in from one direction, so if you're coming down the road the opposite way, theres nothing you can see that says one way only. So then you pull in and all the old people throw up their wrinkly old hands at you like you just committed a crime just for coming in the wrong way.
If your package says that it is delivered, it won't turn up on that day. There is not a service that is slower and more disappointing than the USPS. Also, expect your box to be crushed and damaged by the time it shows up. I've had a dozen packages delivered by the USPS and it has never NOT been late or damaged in some way.
This location has consistent and positive customer service. We recently used them for Passport service and they were excellent.
My two son's did not receive a package from great aunt in MO, a letter from home in SC, a letter from grandma in OH. This all happened this 2019 Valentine's Day holiday month. Someone is grabbing the mail that looks like gifts in a this College town. It needs to be stopped!
