Went there for the first time ever. I was there to get my passport. The lady there by the name of I believe it was Jennifer was super awesome, she was super polite and very helpful. Made the process really fast and easy. So a big shoutout to her, she is amazing. And thank you so much for all the help!
Have lived in East Lansing for close to a year now and the only part I don't like about it is the mail delivery here. By far the worst of the 10 or so places I have lived across the state and US. I buy and sell rare books and prints and they are constantly crammed in my mailbox without any regard to whether or not they fit. I have tried to call the post office countless times and have never once gotten an answer, I have resorted to calling the DeWitt Post Office when I have a question. At this point I generally have my expensive items sent to my brother's house in Lansing so I know they will be delivered safe, but I messed up and had one shipped to my home and sure enough, despite it having a huge DO NOT BEND sticker on it, it was wadded up and crammed in my mailbox, ruining the artwork. So frustrating.
Worst service of any post office. Terrible staff who can't even speak to you like a human being.
People working here have always for 30+ years been friendly and helpful.
This morning at 10am, I walked in for new passport for my 1 year old nephew and his mother. The processor was very rude and in such a bad mood, she was literally banging the cabinets, she did not say hello or introduce herself I don't have a name, but she needs to work on how to work with clients. I paid to get a service, and some professionalism must be shown. My intentions aren't to hurt someone in anyways, but to fix the problem And improve the service experience. Very disappointed.
Great local establishment, speedy service and polite employees. I am writing to inquire about if the male employee with a short well groomed haircut and tattoo on his arm of some Asian characters/“letters” has a fetish/particular liking for Asian women or women from a specific area of the Asian continent? Let me know .
Great service and very polite employees. Quick and efficient in person visits and phone calls as well
I have yet to receive a package that wasn’t in good condition. However, we need to learn how communicate where you’re delivering said packages to. My past 3 orders were supposedly delivered to my front porch according to the tracker, only for them to be delivered to my front office, which leads to me fighting with office hours to get it.
I was missing my mail for 72 hours. Jennifer, worked with carriers, the office, etc. to keep me informed via email to make sure it was found. It took several days, but she was patient and had excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service experience.
USPS is the best example of how inefficient Federal Agencies are. They've purposely not delivered to my apartments when it was still open and staff in the leasing office as well. Ok well that's fine. I place a request for redelivery, they say it's not able to be redelivered and I would HAVE to pick it up from the post office. Alright I place a pick up request and go there, they say they cannot find packages in my name at all and they tried convincing me that I had never even placed the request at all while I was trying to load it on my phone. They then take it to the manager and he comes up and says give me your phone number, i'll call you later. That's literally all, nothing regarding the package. I literally had to come into their office during a pandemic and they completely wasted my time for 30 mins, while not even saying they will try to redeliver. Manager doesn't care about anyone, he basically gets paid to print out a couple sheets of paper. There were instances of the drivers just leaving my packages on the footpath in front of my building when the leasing office was literally open, just a bunch of packages on the footpath. TLDR: USPS completely just wasted my time, told me to come pick up my package during a pandemic which they didn't attempt to deliver or attempt to redeliver, made me wait in there for 30 mins for the manager to come and tell me no package, and that he'll call me if he finds somethingthat's if he even bothers to look for it.
