Just another thrift store. A little junkies than Deseret Industries or Savers. This store has a terrible front end. The cashiers are so slow. It seems to me, that if an item isn't priced, they should just guess. I mean they got it for free
Wish we had more Goodwill stores in Utah. I honestly enjoy buying second hand items that still function perfectly, It’s a great way to recycle and save money. This location is organized, fairly clean, and they always seem to have what I’m looking for. My only gripe is that it’s a bit small, there’s not a lot of aisle space.
Nice Goodwill. Lots of clothes, furniture, small appliances, etc. Always see new furniture and items when go. Furniture is reasonably priced, have bought tables and TV stands for under $10.
I wasn’t very stoked to find out that there is nowhere to safely lock up your bike when you wanna do a little second hand shopping. This Goodwill Store is pretty well organized and seems to have a decent rotation of goods. The staff are always nice and usually funny. Get a safe place to park and lock up bicycles, guys!
Shopped here several years —really like it. I’m here to back up the not so good donation drop off scenario. There’s an older man there who is usually rude—yelled at my daughter- she was nearly in tears. Sometimes he throws stuff in bins without checking or asking if it’s fragile. I cringe at the thought of donating there anymore. The first couple times I ignored it thinking he was just having a bad day. Unfortunately, I am looking for new places to donate. I have to make my own boundaries- that’s my coping strategy. He really needs some anger management. Please help this guy who works for you. I’ll still shop there. Hope others keep donating so I can.
Not my go to place but you can find some interesting things. The store isn’t that big. The selection is fairly limited. We did find some cool toys. Parking is plenty but weird. Covid made them close bathrooms so my son had to pee outside. You should go to make your own conclusions.
They have many good deals, but when buying many things and ask if they are willing to go down on price just a little since so much is being purchased. They don't seem to want to budge on price especially if it's been there for a week. Yet you'd think to make a sale at that moment and have a satisfied customer who is there regularly to find that great deal purchasing something that was donated. You'd think satisfying the customer to guarantee to have a repeated shopper. It's sad really...as all my odds and ends get donated once I no longer need want or have a use for something. And no never have used my donates to recieve a deal on my next visit. But at the same time the money that's made goes for a special cause so that is what keeps me as a repeated shopper. And I seem to find a use for just about anything or I think that someone I know can so I get things for everyone I know. Anyway, it would be nice to see some ability to negotiate. These are just some of the items I purchased this last time. And I'd say I'm visiting at least once a week if not more. And never leave without something usually needing a shopping cart to hold everything I buy.
I always prefer to donate gentle used items rather than throw away but every time I come here the donation staff are so exceedingly unpleasant that I will drive extra distance to avoid. In the past several years, I’ve shown up during donation hours and had them yell at me telling me they were closing early and to go away, I’ve had them yell at me about how they won’t accept an item I had in my car that I was not donating a piece of furniture in my backseat which I had not opened the doors to, that I had already told them was not for donation, they just saw it through the windows and I’ve had them yell at me for simply moving too slow and not immediately understanding how they wanted me to sort things into their unlabeled containers. I understand that they are likely understaffed, underpaid, and overwhelmed….but it truly is a pain in the a** to be screamed at while trying to do an errand so I’ll probably just donate to the DI from now on.
Nice location, I would rank it above the other locations on Redwood Rd /7000s and State St. The donation staff were helpful when I went to donate. There are always decent clothes although the store organization of them is weird. Kind of small knick knacks section but good frames and photos section. Dressing rooms open. Gets crowded but there is a lot of parking.
Reasonably well organized with a good selection. This is my preferred Goodwill location. Pleasant staff in my experience.
