I truly do not understand all of the negative reviews regarding the receptionists. I've never once had a bad experience with them and I've been coming here for the last three years. HOWEVER, lately they are testing my patience. My doctor is out on maternity leave until August or so and in the meantime I don't care who I see I just need an appointment. They gave me a June appointment only to cancel it because the doctor isn't in on that day after all. And her next available appointment isn't until OCTOBER. And they can't find me any other appointments with the other doctors. Take that as you will, I for one find it very annoying! Before this I was always very happy with how they treated me

I originally chose this practice because it was conveniently located, but I wish I had looked further. As another reviewer said below, 'the receptionists are rude, and the good doctors leave.' I've gone through 4 - 5 "primary" care doctors in the last six years, which means that I'm always starting from zero when I go in for an appointment. This time, I'm just going to start with a new doctor at a different practice.

Worst place ever. Doctors and therapists there are no help at all. They are a complete waste of time and money.

After checking in I waiting for more then 40 minutes, I went to the receptionist to ask why I’ve been waiting so long, she asked me if I had checked in because she didn’t recognize me, it was me and three other people in the office who checked in for appointments, she later then said were running more the 45 minutes behind. I couldn’t get an exact answer, the receptionist was rude, the nursing assistant said you’ll just have to wait. I recommend going to another practice, they haven’t been performing well the last couple years and I’ve been a patient with them for more the 6 years

This is “my” family practice, but I haven’t visited in almost four years since they cancelled three yes, THREE wellness checks over an eight-month period each booked several months in advance. Now I have a suspected broken ankle after a fall. I called Tilley Drive UVM Orthopedics to book an x-ray, but was told I needed a referral from my primary care doctor. I called the family practice, waited several minutes on the line, only to be told I need an in-person visit for a referral during a pandemic!!!, but that they had no appointments today, not even for an emergency. Total non-care. We need healthcare competition in Vermont…

UPDATE 1/29/20 - as much as I love Dr Mariani as a provider, the staff have been incredibly frustrating to deal with lately. Last time I called they were combative with me over my prescription. 5 star doctor - 1 star staff. Pains me to say I have to find a different primary care office now.

I’ve had nothing but good care from this practice, seen friendly staff, and pretty good response times for questions especially when submitted via the my health app.

Great caring staff and very helpful.

I haven’t been here for couple years now I am a new patient and they don’t take new patients at the moment how crazy is that

Unpolite receptionists & every good doctor I've had here leaves..
