UW-Rock County offers a two-year Associate’s Degree. Since our academic program focuses on the general education requirements necessary for any bachelor's degree, it is possible to begin virtually any university or pre-professional major at UW- Rock County.

Affordable access to quality education
UW–Rock County awards an Associate of Arts and Science degree (60 credits). A guaranteed transfer program assures students that all of their general education credits will be accepted by any UW System institution. A significant majority of
students transfer to other UW institutions, often without completing their AAS degree. Those who transfer as upper classmen have a remarkable record of academic success: 78 percent receive their bachelor’s degree.
Students may earn an AAS degree with emphasis in 20 specific course areas, indicating that they have taken 9 to 15 credits in that area.
They may also pursue a bachelor’s degree on the UW–Rock County campus through collaborative agreements with fourUW comprehensive universities: UW–Milwaukee (organizational administration, communication, and information resources); UW–Whitewater (liberal studies); UW–Platteville (electrical and
mechanical engineering); and UW–Oshkosh (nursing). The nursing degree also includes collaboration with Blackhawk Technical College.
