The Uwchlan Township Historical Commission is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of the Lionville Historic District, Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
The Lionville Historic District is located on North and South Village Avenues in Lionville PA. The Cadwalader House, Edith P. Moore Schoolhouse and Uwchlan Meetinghouse are open to the public on the 1st Sunday of every month from April to November from 2-4, and a self-guided walking tour of S. Village Ave. is available year round.
The purpose of the Uwchlan Township Historical Commission is to identify, record and protect the history and historical resources of Uwchlan Township.
The mission is achieved by actively seeking and archiving all historical information on Uwchlan Township, advising the Board of Supervisors on changes on the Historic Resource Map and Inventory.
