We’ve stayed here a few times, the lots are a bit small; but there’s so much to do that it’s really fine. We always get a spot in the back on the property line so it feels slightly more private. The live bands and djs and activities are all great and super fun. My only issue is that you feel a lot like an outsider if you are not a weekend regular or permanent resident, but everyone is courteous. Food & drinks: The snack shak is our kiddos favorite place to ride their bike to.
I came to spend a weekend with a close friend. I rented a golf cart as well. We had a wonderful visit and I was surprised at all the activities available at Vacationland. The park model was clean and the AC was on when I got there which was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and waved as I putted around the grounds. I hope to have a place myself if life permits and Vacationland is definitely a contender. Thank you for your hospitality!
We have been seasonal here for over 10 years. However, I grew up spending my summers living with my grandmother at this campground all summer. I met my husband here and hes also camped here the majority of his whole life as well. My children now spend their whole summers here and throughly enjoy and love this campground like I did and still do. We have been through many owners over the years from Lou, to Debbie, to the Shadrons, and the new current management. This place is on the up and up. Activities have been AMAZING, food has been PHENOMENAL, and staff is always INVITING and ATTENTIVE! This place for YEARS was only about the bands and drinking, those were the only activities anyone cared about. Honestly, it had been on a down hill spiral for since management changed from Debbie. The new management is finally changing that! All the changes may not be things you can see physically, but the changes are there! This campground has never been safer, or more accommodating than it is now. Anyone that says other wise hasn't been here long enough to know how truly bad this place was. If you don't like it go else where but I promise you, you will end up regretting it! What's that saying? If you can't love me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best!
Just like to put out a big thank you to all of vacation land from the general manager and all staff, for their assistance and support in helping our family in a medical crisis while we were staying there. We are so thankful and great full for all their help and support. We are long time campers at vacation land and hope to see you all again soon. Thank you all again from the Conner family.
As always, my stay was fantastic! I've never had a bad stay at this awesome campground, and there is so much to do! The staff members are friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to my next trip!Rooms: 5/5
We had so much fun Labor day weekend.  The water wars was so much fun as well as the DJ.  Missed seeing band though.  Maybe next time.  Will be there on the 23rd for the Ghostly gathering.  Looking forward to it. This campground is a great place for family. They have so much to do for kids of all ages and adults. We have met some great people and my daughter made some friends over the years. Great campground!
Posting for my mom- Vickie Weber. We have nine family members that love spending time at our camp site. Our young grandsons love the campground as much as our daughters did 35 years ago when we camped there when they were young. This summer was exceptional. So much fun for all of us. They can’t wait for the next water battle.
Disappointing that we were not told that two of the advertised amenities pools and dog wash station we chose this place for were out of service when we booked our we would have gone somewhere else. As others have said this is mostly seasonal and park models. A lot of the place is run down and not worth the price.
Greatest place! Me and my kids can’t wait till the weekends to go to camp. We love this place well kept great food great entertainment, great people so much fun goin to camp.
Beautiful and clean campground. Our children loved participating on stage with karaoke night. Unfortunately, aside from that, there was not much else for them to do. The Rec Hall and mini golf cost additional money, so not much is included aside from the playground. The kids loved riding their bikes, but were constantly hassled by security. The biggest downfall was the strict security and rude staff. I understand that rules need to be enforced, but the gentleman doing rounds on his golf cart was down right mean. The staff at check-in was complaining about other customers upon my arrival, in front of everyone. The lady at the Snack Shack was cursing and yelling about "being there since 6AM" when we stopped for ice cream in the evening. She even closed early and kicked people out of line. There weren't enough positives to this campground for us to look past the rude staff. We most likely will not be returning.
