My children have been training with Valhalla for a year now. It’s not just a gym. It’s a family. They don’t just teach martial arts. They teach kindness, love and respect. They create an atmosphere to allow you to grow, not just as a fighter, but as a person. Their family is amazing and they accept everyone. I’m so happy I found them. My children are thriving and I couldn’t imagine having them anywhere else.
There is something so incredibly special about this gym. This dojo has offered something unique to each of my children. The instructors knowledge and passion for their craft is unmatched. My children have been taught that their love for this sport is equally as important as the respect and discipline that it requires. I am beyond grateful for our Vahalla family.
Valhalla MMA showed me a real "fight family" for the first time in my life. A genuine community of people that are passionate and wanted to see me improve. The instructors, as well as the other students, all create a great atmosphere of friendly teaching and challenging that leads to great progress. I can't recommend this school enough to anyone who is looking for a place to train. If you have any worries or doubts about yourself or about the school, I ask you to give it a chance and all your worries will melt away.
As a man who's known the Handrich's and Valhalla for 20 years and tried other gyms and dojos in my lifetyme, I can personally attest to the fact that there is no better place to train. The Passion, Skill, Knowledge, and Experience that the teaching staff has is unrivaled. Their knowledge is eclectic and very thorough. They teach Theory and Practical Application of technique which is amazing because unlike traditional schools who seldom teach practical application it show's us how to use the techniques in real life situations and gives us the confidence of knowing we've felt that situation, helping to remove the shock of "what now" or "how do i use it" when the real life attack occurs. As Valhalla's First 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, personal experience has shown me that Valhalla is more than just a training experience, it's family... the people Staff and Students become family. They care about you're progress in more than just the gym. The bonds that you'll build with Valhalla will be with you everywhere you go, whether it's 5 miles or 5 States awayspeaking from personal experience. There's no place better to train and no better group to train with... If you just want tyme in the ring they'll get it for you, and if you're seeking a well rounded warrior experience they've got the knowledge, experience and passion to give that to you as well.
This place is amazing! To start, they have amazing customer service and are able to answer any questions you might have. Their price options are very reasonable for what they offer! I was baffled when offered the opportunity to join in on one of their introductory classes, and then sit in on the next one. There were a series of challenges I happened to throw at them which they were able to handle with style. They are willing to work with you no matter the skill level you might be at. Along with this, they are able to assist and include people who suffer from PTSD, Trauma, Learning Difficulties and Anxiety within their programs. If this is the level of service and attention I get with just a group class I can only imagine what next level a private class would be! Thank you to those who worked with me for the opportunity to trust and believe In myself and push me to do better. I will be recommending this school to everyone I know! Expect to see me in the next class!
