If I could put 0 stars I would! This company was hired by a sofa manufacturer so I didn’t select it to deliver said sofa to a client of mine interior designer. They were horrible, didn’t work with the furniture, frustrated my client and after all that charged more money for undelivered item because they refused to bring the piece up the stairs! I selected and hired Valley Logistics to move our office on December 6, 2013. Today is September 2, 2014, and they have yet to fix all the damages their employees caused during the move. The move itself went fine. After the fact is where all the problems have been. My rep, Brett, has been nonresponsive to my requests and emails. He must have learned this from management, because they are the same. I contacted the Supervisor and he has yet to return my call. I called the President out in California, and no response. I would not recommend this company for an office move if you expect to get quality service before and after the move.
Rude, condescending, and incompetent. I was under contract with them as a 3rd party moving service. I have 10 vending machines, on each and every delivery they messed up. They have embarrassed us 10 out of 10 times in front of new clients. Common issues: No call to give heads up delivery is on the way, window is 8am-4pm, delivered and left our machine and keys with the location, delivered on wrong date, caused damage to the delivery location. Did not bring proper equipment like pads or an appropriate dolly. They do not communicate with their drivers your instructions. They do not ask about the location ie can items fit through doors or on elevator. Hit or miss if the drivers are professional or not. They don't send confirmations so they always have info wrong.
Valley Logistics is outstandingly bad. They delivered my Sealy mattress over 2 hours before the agreed upon window. Because of this, I wasn't at home to receive the mattress. No problem for them, they just beat on my door for ten minutes waking up my 1 year old and scaring my nanny in the process. With my child crying from the banging, my nanny, who speaks little English, reluctantly opens the door thinking it's an emergency. A clipboard is given to her and she is bullied into allowing the delivery team to put the mattress in the garage. My wife and I spent over an hour trying to move the king sized mattress up two flights of stairs. My gripe with them was simple, part of their operation is to set up the mattress. This didn't happen because of obvious reasons. I called Valley Logistics four times before I got anywhere. Their tactics included not answering the phone, not returning phone calls and passing the buck back to Sealy. Finally, when I spoke to the manager Jim, he intermittently listened and said he'd do an investigation on the delivery team. Considering how he interrupted me and grew annoyed on the phone I told Jim that I didn't have a whole lot of confidence in his unbiased investigation. He assured me. Long story short, he never called me back. I called him six times over the span of three weeks before I finally got him on the phone and he tells me what amounts to nothing. No explanation as to why he never returned my call and he said he knows the drivers didn't do what I claimed because he's known one of them for so long. That's certainly not a bias perspective coming through. The best part about it was that he acted as though Valley Logistics adheres to these high standards in their quality of service. Hilarious!! So once I told him that he works for a "fly by night operation" he grew offended and hung up on me. So let's sum this up: 1Delivery outside of time window by over two hours. 2beating on my door and waking up my son 3bullying my nanny 4ignoring my calls repeatedly and lastly 5 hanging up on me. Enough said.
On May 22nd I had two pieces of medical equipment picked up from Sterling Virginia to be shipped to El Paso Texas. This was suppose to be White Glove Service. As of June 14th the items have not been received in El Paso. When the items were picked up the two people that came had the wrong invoice. They thought they were suppose to be picking up crated furniture. They were suppose to be picking up medical equipment that needed to be packed. Their packing consisted of wrapping the items in plastic wrap. I don't understand why it takes three weeks to go from Sterling Virginia to El Paso Texas. The stuff is not being shipped by wagon train is it? My ticket number is WI7342.
This company is awful. They deliver Sealy's products and apparently take no responsibility for items they "misplace". We ordered a mattress and powerbase from Sealy, both of which were very expensive. The mattress was delivered and the powerbase wasn't. This was a month ago. We've spoken to Patti Cone who keeps asking what a powerbase looks like and telling us that she'll have her warehouse guys look for my powerbase, but this game has been going on for a month now. It amazes me that after you spend thousands of dollars on a product, the delivery company can lose it and you're just supposed to write it off as money wasted. This is absolutely ridiculous. And the sad part is that I really love our new Sealy mattress, but I will NEVER order from Sealy again as long as Valley Logistics is delivering Sealy's products. **Update** About a month after I posted this review, I got fed up with Valley Logistics and decided to contact Sealy to report them. Apparently, Sealy contacted Valley Logistics to light a fire under their butts because my powerbase was delivered 6 days later. To anyone who has products delivered by Valley Logistics, I truly hope your experience is nothing like mine.
I was surprised when I saw all of the poor reviews for this company, they moved our office June 28 and everything went just great. They had to take everything down a freight elevator at the old site in Baltimore and then move it to our new location. They gave us stickers so they would know where to put everything in the new space and even moved some existing furniture to storage for us. I would definitely recommend them if you are moving your office and I thought the price was very reasonable as well.
Do not use this company! My father has a machine that was sold and the buyer selected this shipping company. The communication is absolutely terrible. They have scheduled pick up days three times now and have yet to show up to get it, despite numerous attempts to get in contact with them through phone and email. They have zero respect for anyone's time or money. I have actually had to contact them numerous times to even get a time frame or a day, and when I do get in touch with someone they act as if they are doing everything correctly. Do not, whatever you do, use this company.
Horrible. Had no choice bc this is company used by direct buy. Gave us a day for delivery - timeframe 8-4!!!! Then they never showed up. Delivering daughters bed so now daughter has no bed all weekend. Rude service when i called to check on status all day long. I am livid. Going to call corporate. Gonna make sure direct buy knows how crappy they are. Gonna let better business bureau know too. And bridget in dispatch - you are useless!!
not sure how companies like this are still in business ?? rude and unprofessional , maybe have someone with some customer service /phone skills , there are so many choices out there , do yourself a favor and choose ANY other one , cause you get what you pay for , so pay a little more, cause if your ok with "well it get to you between 8-4 click " then make sure you have to call Comcast to talk to someone and also need to get to the DMV to do something and quickly pick up something from Costco and you day from hell will be complete
