My doctor needs me to get a blood test to adjust medications. I called to get assistance from valley medical services because this is the location I am supposed to get blood drawn. There is an entire protocol that apparently needs to met in order to do this. I was trying to understand the process but got a very unfriendly person named Lisa on the phone who is incredibly rude. I have my doctor telling me one thing and her telling me another and I'm caught in the middle. Bottomline is I will never let anyone near my medical needs with a temperament like that. BEWARE!!
We were very happy with our experience at Valley Medical Services. The employees were really nice and kept us updated when a computer issue slowed things down for a bit. We got our tests first thing in the morning and received our Covid - PCR results before the end of the day, and they even called to let us know when the test results had been uploaded to our patient portals. We were also pleased to learn that we could submit our invoices to our insurance company for reimbursement, and we appreciated that VMS allowed us to pay the initial fees by debit or credit card. All in all, this was a very positive experience and we recommend Valley Medical Services!
I was worried about finding a PCR COVID Test that would work for a pretty tight timeline for my trip. The cost was $250, but I had my results in 2 hours they guarantee them within 24 hours. A clinic in Bozeman was charging $230 for results within 72 hours, and I couldn’t even find an option in Missoula, so I am happy that this was an option and with the quick results. Super easy process, just drive around back. Lovely folks working there, thank you!
I have had 4 test at Valley Medical. The first one was $200. The rest were $250. I am absolutely appalled at how the have been ripping off the public. Their cost for a test should be no more that $25 per test. And they are doing north of 200hundred per day. Talk about taking advantage of a situation!! Good news that Canadians won't require a PCR test anymore after Feb. 28. Bad news that Valley Medical has taken such an advantage of this situation. Icould not in good conscience
My wife has been to Valley Medical Services a number of times to get blood work done they're certainly less expensive than the hospital or probably just about any Private Practice in the valley. the phlebotomists there are very good, especially Kirsten, and they offer a wide variety of blood tests and services.
Very fast and easy experience getting a drug test done
Needed a Covid test to cross to Canada. Nobody could do it within time required except Valley. But wow! Drove straight through and was in and out in 10 mins. Got phone calls from actual humans telling me my results were available within 4 hours. Expensive but amazing service eh?
Easy process but I did not like the fact that you have to create an account to get the results, and even then the document was very blurry and unprofessional looking, when clicking on ‘view original document’ there was none to be found. Expect a better looking document for $250. If people consent, why not just send via email like everyone else?
$100 to swab your nose. I called ahead and told them I was coming in from over an hour away and you'd think they would mention that the test is going to cost $100 over the phone. Instead I wait in line and get up to my turn and now they tell me! What a rip off.
Uneducated & unprofessional staff. There is a reason why the Flathead Valley has a shortage of labor. Walk into this facility as an active positive member in society, and instantly, that feeling goes away. You are treated like a convict. The employees claim that they legally have the right to watch you pee. This is far from reality. This company doesn’t understand legal procedures and a candidate for investigation. Workers are not convicts, and should be treated with respect. They have my social security number and photo ID on file, and aren’t willing to disclose or discuss information, let alone pick up phone calls. By far the most uneducated “medical facility” I’ve ever encountered.
