Valley Mission Thrift Store in Staunton

Adorable, well organized shop. Wish I had more time to spend! Walked in for some type of bathing suit, since we realized our hotel had a pool and we hadn't packed our suits. I walked out $6 later, thrilled with my purchase! Hope to return when we are back in the area and have more time!

Great prices, good high end clothes, and a very sweet older woman who was "On fire singing the song". Thanks for the smiles and materials.

The mission is the only thrift store that hasn't went sky high on there prices. The good will in Staunton has got ridiculous on their prices.i won't shop there any more or donate to them . I was in there one day picked a plaque up from Walmart the price Walmart had on it was $2 the good will had $3:99 on it.if the mission went up on prices you can't tell it. You want a good deal good to the mission not Staunton goodwill

Great local alternative to Goodwill, and right by the Y and Food Lion. I don't need to go anywhere else, lols. I always find something, especially affordable furniture and kitchenware I've been needing. And of course nice to know it's going to help our local community. Grateful to the workers who I assume are kind volunteers!

I appreciate the mission for I was a resident with my family when I 13yrs old. I have always wanted to give back the best I could staying humble along the way. I give back in the form of supporting the Thrift Store. That being said the manager of this store has to be one of the most out of touch human beings. Alot of your customers are not well of as you must be. Why would you put what eBay has something Listed for on your pricing? YOU ARE NOT EBAY I will be back and won't buy In protest.

This is a great thrift store with affordable prices. The store is clean and organized and the people working here are very friendly. Convenient location with a parking lot. You can also donate your used items at the back of the store. The people that help take in the donations are very helpful and kind.

This store is neat and organized. Good prices on clothes and other things. Very seldom have I been here and not found something I liked. No changes.

Preferred old layout and style. Now more like boutique and has lost the comfortable laid back feeling it had under the previous manager and staff are not laughing and seeming to be enjoying themselves like they did. I miss hearing their wonderful joy I am used to. There also seems to be less stuff. I actually walked out empty handed today and that may be the first time in about 10 years or more that I have been shopping there. Today may have also been my last visit!!

This is a great place to shop and find quality clothing, books, movies and craft items for a nominal price. The plus is that the money the thrift store makes is used for helping the homeless, through Valley Mission. Check it out. You won't be sorry.
