I have been to Golden Bear PT for two different rehabs. Both times all of the PT's that I've worked with were and have been very kind and caring and are very professional. They know their stuff! The facility is clean and neat. I highly recommend Golden Bear Physical Therapy in Valley Springs, CA.
Cori is an excellent physical therapist. She adds new exercises every visit. I am experiencing lots of relief as a results of her exceptional care! I also appreciate Lily who assists Cori. She is a delightful person! And so appreciate Karen who is the receptionist. She is very focused and her follow up is appreciated! I feel so much better and always enjoy my visits! Blessings! I have been going to Golden Bear Physical Therapy for around 5 months now. The staff is very professional and genuinely care for their clients. Karen at reception and scheduling always has a friendly smile and sweet disposition. Josiah can rest assured that the staff is top notch. I have had the pleasure of being cared for primarily by Shelby who is an absolute joy. As I reach the end of my therapy sessions I would like to say I will truly miss all of them.
My Doctor referred me to this facility for a lower back problem. I've never had PT before so this was a new experience for me. I was fortunate to have crossed paths with Josiah. He listened to every word I said from day one, and laid out a treatment plan specifically tailored to my back problem. Along the way I've learned so much from him about the Body & Mind connection. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He takes the time to explain how the body responds to the various therapies, as he has an extraordinary grasp of the internal workings of each body part, and he conveys it in a manner that I can picture in my mind, so it helps me to perform my exercises with purpose rather than just doing a repetitive exercise. He has great communication skills! Josiah is kind, compassionate, and very patient. He's also helped me with the mental component of this program. He offers positive and helpful information that gets my mind in the right place, so the healing can be more effective. All the staff members are also extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. They are friendly, and fun to work out with! I was lucky to be able to do most of my therapy sessions with Shelby, who has a great personality, and is also kind and compassionate. She creates a joyful and happy environment. She is full of fun and makes me laugh! I actually enjoy going to my appointments! Karen at the front desk, is also very kind, and helpful. From the time you walk in, until the time you leave, you are in very good hands. I highly recommend this facility. They foster a happy and healing environment.
First time ever getting Physical Therapy From the first phone call, I was given specific instructions on what to expect upon my first visit, including something as simple yet immensely appreciated as arriving about 10-15 minutes early for paperwork. Easy to forget to mention, but I'm glad they did so as not to eat into the session time. Josiah and the staff made me feel incredibly welcomed and genuinely excited to learn about why I was there for PT/Rehab. Even in the weird times that we're in, when it can be easy to shy away from human engagement, these folks have ironed out a very professional, safe, and still lively approach to navigating it all. Despite the injury that I was there for being on the minor side of things comparatively to others in the facility, I was still given care and attention to work towards recovery. Every client in the place was being given very "hands-on" instruction, with every staff member actively working; There wasn't a slacker in the bunch and it was exciting to be in a constantly moving energy that they had going. Would recommend, 10/10, for anyone looking for knowledgeable and fun body experts.
I’m very happy with the results I get from Golden Bear Physical Therapy. The physical therapists and all of the staff are caring, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The business is extremely careful with disinfecting and social distancing between patients. Golden Bear makes physical therapy practically enjoyable.
