Very large store with a ton of merchandise. Note before shopping here, EVERYTHING is over priced! Nike shoes with no laces for $45, Kids size Columbia jackets for $50, most is price marked way too high/above retail even simply because of the brand. I understand thrift stores sell donated items and need to make money to stay open, pay employees, etc. but this is a bit extreme. If you want to pay retail prices, just buy from the actual branded store for that same item new. I am unsure what their definition of “thrift” is, but I am shocked.
My favoriteest thrift store ever. When I come here I feel like I'm in Disneyland. It takes more than one day to look through all of the things that they have.
We loved coming here just to look around the store and see what sort of cool things we could find. We are extremely disappointed that they no longer carry books; that was our favorite part of the store. We probably won’t be coming as much as a result.
While I have been a regular customer for a while now I have been noticing more and more the insane increase in pricing, they get these items for free and have been pricing a good amount of items either at retail or well above retail. Today was just a small example of that, $40.99 for video games and $5 for a pack of boxes from the USPS That you get for free from the United States post office. I had informed the manager today of this and she absolutely did not care in the least. She even informed me that when they receive items they look up what they are worth and price them that way. If I want to pay retail I will shop at retail stores or online where I have more protection not a Thrift store that gets items in for free and doesn't offer returns. What was once my go to THRIFT spot has turned into a USED RETAIL store.
The biggest thrift store I've ever been to! Great half off sale today! Prices are high otherwise! 100s of people there today! Next half off sale is in October!
I bought a ps2 game today for my grandbabies and when I got home it wasn't in bag. I didn't think I would have to stand there and watch them. But I guess I will have to. I looked everywhere for it and also had my sister check her stuff and the car and it wasn't there
Everything is super expensive now since they updated the store. I found a Michael Korr blouse in there with a store clearance tag of $10 but yet they have it for $30. I found a pair of jeans in there for $250 the original tag said $65 it was Fubu. The children's section is a joke and it's so not worth it anymore. I use to frequent that store weekly but Nope not anymore. I am done won't be back.
It's the luck of the draw on this place. Some things are good deals. You just have to find the good deals mixed in there. I really don't care for the way they catalog their jeans. They're tagged XL or S for example, instead of their REAL actual size. One pair of name brand jeans we got were only 99 cents, the other name brand pair was $8.99. Also they're all mixed together anyway, so it's just messy. The aisles are mostly pretty narrow, so you'll be diving and dodging other customers for your entire visit. You'll also have to work you're way around all the workers checking items using huge carts that block half the aisles. At one point, there were two workers side by side with those carts blocking an entire aisle which made no sense at all. You can find some pretty cool stuff if you look hard enough, though. I guess it's worth a visit.
My friend and I found a pair of shoes she wanted for an upcoming trip. The shoes had no tag. A worker said she would get them tagged and would be right back. She never came back & when we asked about them to someone else they said that the shoes would be out tomorrow and priced. What ? The lady should of said that before taking the shoes.
This place is awsome and has great deals compared to other thrifts in the area. However, they're is a big issue. The store won't sell you an item thats missing a tag. This has led to people stealing the tags off items so they can come back the next day to use coupons or use special deals for that day. Some items they write on to solve this issue. But they are not required to do this, Valley thift, please implement this or other policy's to keep a few people from taking all the good finds. Its incredibly disappointing to experience this over and over.
