Dr. Donovan was fantastic with our 3 and half year old. He needed a circumcision and penile torsion correction. The surgery took maybe 15 minutes and our son healed so fast. He has great bedside manner and made my son feel comfortable but reminded him and myself about private awareness and safety. It’s good to see that doctors are out there who take the time to not only correct issues but focus on empowering our kids about consent. I would recommend this doctor to anyone. Thank you again for caring and taking the time to not only be the best surgeon, but the best doctor.
Extremely rushed visits, rude, unprofessional behavior, and no integrity. It’s seems the doctors here are being timed or are in a competition to see how fast they can be in and out with a patient. Experienced this first with Dr. Blunt who was extremely unprofessional as he literally talked down and vented to my spouse & I about the radiologist who wrote my report on some diagnostics I had done and then did the same about my PCP who referred me here. It was my first time meeting Dr. Blunt who kept rudely talking over me EVERY time I began to speak, on top of rushing through my appointment. Saw me for a whole three minutes, a “NEW” patient mind you, with the majority of this time being spent on giving his opinion about how incompetent the radiologist AND my PCP were. My spouse & I were appalled. Guy clearly has a chip on his shoulder. This was the most egregious encounter I’ve ever had with any medical “professional”. I switched to one of their other doctors. The new doctor was pleasant, however, he, too, rushed through my appointment BOTH times I met with him seeing a trend here. On another occasion, there was an issue with a prescription they sent to my pharmacy. I called the office & was was told that a message would be sent to the Medical Assistant to call me. Never got a call back & never received the prescription, but two weeks later I had a follow up appointment and I informed the doctor about what happened. Said “he didn’t know anything about it” and immediately changed the subject. Mkay then, I guess it’s acceptable for a patient not to receive the medication you prescribed to them?? Ultimately, the impression here is that my concerns & complaints of pain were discounted & ignored, they just throw some medication at you to mask your symptoms, & these providers are desensitized. They seem to forget that we’re not just patients, we’re also customers and we can certainly take our business elsewhere.

Dr Chevhal treated my prostate issues for several months and his care has been Sterling. When I developed kidney stones, I was in good hands with Dr Chevhal and his staff. Recommend!
I had an adult circumcision performed by Dr.Blunt. My surgery went well. So this was a tough one. Because the actual Doctor is great! Which is why I gave 2 stars. Otherwise it would be zero stars. The office staff is that bad! The entire office staff is either rude, lazy or incompetent. Or a combination of the previously stated. I've never been afforded the opportunity to talk to a office manager. Even though I've asked more times than I can remember. I mean they're so bad that I skipped my follow up visits after surgery. Its a shame because Dr.Blunt is a good Doctor. However there's alot of good Doctors. It's just not worth the frustration of dealing with the office staff. So sadly I will have to find another urologist.
Dr. Cheval is the best! His professionalism and expertise are unparalleled. His staff quickly scheduled all of my appointments and arranged for my surgery with clear and concise instructions. On the day of surgery, I was impressed with how well everything went with near perfect results, I credit Dr. Cheval and his staff for that. Hopefully, I will never have to visit urology again, but if I do, I will be seeking out Dr. Cheval and staff.
Staff got me in quickly. Dr. Chehval was down to earth. Actually seemed concerned about my issue. That's more than some Dr's do these days. Nice to do business with a firm not connected to the mob huge hospitals. He treated and approached my issue very aggressively which I appreciate with as few office visits as possible. Highly recommend Dr. Chehval and staff.
Dr. Thaly has some of the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. I was really nervous. His assistant Theresa was great as well. They calmed me down, were quick, efficient, and answered all my questions. Both are very down to earth and enjoyed a few laughs with them. Also, the one impressive aspect was how quickly I was seen. Almost no wait. I highly recommend this team.
Had issue with my insurance company paying my wife's bills correctly. This was not the doctors fault, however the way the billing at the doctors office handled it was terrible. I called them multiple times after receiving statements telling them it was getting reprocessed by insurance. Each time they said it was fine and to wait to hear from the insurance on the matter. Well I still recieved a final notice saying they would sent it to collection without my payment. I again called to tell them that the insurance was not going to hear my appeal untill June 10th and would not be making a payment untill I hear from insurance on what should be a covered expence. The lady on the phone replied back with we will send it to collections then.
I would definitely not recommend VUA. I have had an ongoing issue for months. I was referred by banner hospital to Dr. Cheval. He saw my CAT scan and everything didn’t bother to see what i had going on and sent me home saying I would be fine. A few weeks later same issue occurs so he claims he needs to see and MRI I had the MRI done, and he said it could be this or that seemed unsure as to what I had and said his assistant would call to schedule surgery. Weeks passed and nothing. He knew I was in pain/had fevers and never seemed to try to help me. Didn’t take interest at all in my well being and the staff is TERRIBLE. Stay away from VUA.
