Vamoose Bus

Great choice if bus going to NYC from MD. Bus is on-time, clean, and spacious. Driver clearly explains what to expect from the trip. The assistant who manages the bus queue was also helpful.

Just rode the Vamoose Bus over the weekend for the first time. It was fine and got us from Bethesda MD to NYC and back the next day without any issues. We did the Gold bus to NYC and the regular bus on the return trip. The schedules were spot on. The gold bus was not that much different other than the amount of seats is less. Seats were "leather like" but not any more comfortable than the regular bus. We had issues locating the stop because we used the link on the Vamoose website for "Parking ->Garage Info" which takes to you a MCDOT website for Bethesda Parking Facilitates and used the wrong address You need to choose Garage 47 Waverly Garage for parking. It was our mistake... but a quick check of the website and we found it okay. The location in NYC was easily located. Over all it was good, give it a try!

Both their standard and gold buses are great. When I need to head to New York under short notice, Vamoose is always my choice. Buses are clean, the ride is smooth and you arrive on time. What more can you ask for? Well…the Vamoose Gold bus! If you can get on one of those based on your schedule, spend the extra money.

Want to spend 75$ for no WiFi, 30 minute late bus which asks you to be 30 mins early so you wait for a total of an hour, ignorant personnel and no refund policy even when they are in the wrong ? Enjoy! Vamoose will grab your money faster than any other bus company. The service is below common standard and the saddest part is that it's worse than the cheapest of the cheap competitors out there. There is literally no reason to choose vamoose. It's worse quality for more money...have fun being stolen from.

Both from Nyc and back to itS both of my seats were broken and didn’t lean back. On the way back, the bus didn’t even have a phone charger and the foot rests were missing. This service has really diminished in quality. For $55/ ticket, Ii’m taking bolt next time. Shame on you, Vamoose, for letting your buses fall into such disrepair

Dirty buses. Even dirtier bathrooms. Not cleaned at beginning of journey. Any normal human will be expected to need to use the bathroom once on a 4 to 6 hour trip. Will not be taking Vamoose again. Made a huge mistake thinking they were higher quality than other bus options.

We took the bus from Lorton VRE to NYC, it was approximately 5 - 5 1/2hr ride. It stops at Arlington, VA and MD. The bus provided outlets for charging, a bathroom but I didn't use, and some bags. It was morning traffic so I threw up from motion sickness, glad they provided grocery bags for it. Got motion sickness pills on the way back. On our way home, we were able to identify where to meet up to depart NYC. Great trip overall.

I took the bus from here to NYC and it was awesome. Took 4 hours exactly - bus left on time and arrived on schedule. It was a comfortable ride, even though the bus was almost completely full. The bus did not have any Vamoose labeling. Power outlets worked but wifi did not. The bus stop itself is quite hidden, and I struggled to find it. It's underneath a bridge between two parking garages. I found it because a crowd had gathered.

Love Vamoose. It's comfortable, convenient, efficient and clean. The staff are nice and schedule always on time! Easy pick up n drop off locations - direct to Penn Station. I wish there was a tray though, like on the planes. Maybe, it's coming!

Timing isn't guaranteed, but somehow drivers get you through terrible traffic & have never missed getting this rider to 30th & 7th by within 1/2 hour of estimated time, unlike the train. Much easier to deal with luggage since they load it into & out of the bus for you with lightening speed. Their generous luggage policy of 2 large suitcases each 50 lbs or less is another plus! And, they don't have there hands out for a tip so you might want to surprise them every once & awhile & see a big smile.
