We took the Authentic Asian Eats tour a few days ago. It was great to learn not just about food, but also the rich history and culture of the Richmond area more broadly. Our guide Anjela was outstanding, and her knowledge and enthusiasm second to none. Needless to say, all the food we sampled was delicious. Highly recommend.
We had the best time with Lydia on our Foodie Tour in the Granville Island Public Market. Loved hearing about the vendors and why and how they got started in business. The foods tasted were well chosen and hit the spot every time. All were winners!

Authentic Asian Eats Walking Tour. Our tour guide, Anjela, did an amazing job of introducing us to the area we were in, the food we were eating and the significance of both of these. She was engaging and made it comfortable for us! We enjoyed the different types of food we ate, the pacing, and thoughtfulness of food choice from start to finish starting with "heavier" or filling food, then smaller amounts or snack size type of food. Overall, would recommend, even if you're a local! Always good to learn about new food spots!
As a first-time visitor to Vancouver, I wanted to make the most of my quick trip! There's no better way to see a place than through its food. Lydia was an amazing tour guide as we weaved through Granville Island to learn the history of the different food stands, have tasty bites, and build community with the rest of the tour group. It was a really fun morning - I would highly recommend anyone doing this tour!
We had a great guide, Gina, who shared history of the Granville Market as well as chose great food tasting options. The tour made our visit to Vancouver complete. We strongly recommend Vancouver Foodie Tours for the best Vancouver food experience.
Had a wonderful and informative tour of Gastown and three of it's fantastic restaurants. I have taken this tour twice. First time by myself and then second time hosted my staff and friends. Both times the food was excellent. And the tour guide, Bronson Ramos, was very informed and welcoming to all questions and comments. A great staff excursion. I recommend this to everyone.
The Richmond Food Tour was the perfect way to start our trip in the greater Vancouver area. Angela showed us great food places we wouldn’t have found ourselves and was very knowledgable about the area. She’s super friendly and gave us other Vancouver recommendations. I would highly recommend this food tour!
We had Michael as our guide. We learned the fascinating back stories of the owners of every shop we visited, the history of the island and the market, and details about the food products we would never know from just shopping there. The samples from each shop on the tour were all generous sizes and delicious and included white tea lemonade, a variety of cheeses, meats, fish, and pickles, Thai noodles, bubble bombs unique and tasty, and full sizes of Australian lemon square, macaron, Lee’s Donut and JJ’s coffee. Michael was knowledgeable, personable and made the whole 2 hour experience a memorable introduction to the shops of Granville market. This tour was a highlight of our Granville Island visit!
