For some reason I thought this was the same as the Venice Hospital that closed. And I was mortified finding out this would be where I’d be having my Stage 2 Melanoma removed but why would a top notch doctor have privileges   here if it was bad right? From the first interaction with Venice Health Park, I knew I was going to be in good hands . Pre op testing and registration was seamless and quick . In and out in less than an hour. The registrars were polite and efficient.  Melissa, the RN who did my Pre-op testing of blood work and EKG was very friendly and conversational . Day of surgery was no exception. Every staff member was so caring and informative. Val, my main nurse, Denny , the anesthesiologist was so jovial and made light of such a otherwise scary moment for me . We laughed at my field trip down the hall to get better. Lisa, the Nuke tech was so caring despite having to administer some pretty painful medication for my lymph node mapping and the hug after made all the difference . I didn’t come in contact with one person that didn’t say they enjoyed their job and the team they worked with . It made all the difference in the care I recently received . If I missed anyone I am sorry , it’s all overwhelming having a serious surgery but they made it so much easier .

For the Same Day Surgery Center.  I called the phone numbers given by my doctors for several days.  All I was able to was leave messages and at times not even that.  No call backs.  What if you need to get in touch with them or a relative is there and you are calling on their behalf. What if there is an emergency?  I changed where my surgery will be.  THis is totally unacceptable.

Expect a Hugh bill from surgery center in Heath Park since Shore Point took over...the billing staff from off site don't know what are the proper codes for ambulatory out patient free standing facility & double bill using improper codes to over charge so the ins. Won't pay hoping to get a senior stuck paying..I believe Venice Hospital did get shut down for this type of consistent  billing errors  & so  why in the world would SharePoint be allowed to take over Heath Park...in Venice Fl.  Beware...my sugestion..use another facility in your network...stay away from ShorePoint Facilities...as you notice, their name has been left off the buildings / signs..for a reason... Dec.2022..at heathpark in Venice...now I won't get my Mamograms there either after going for years with no issues..but now that Shore Point took over, won't chance another issue with wrong billing practice ...

The staff is absolutely professional, attentive, thoroughly, and knowledgeable.  This my second procedure in 4 years at The Health Park and I am very happy with everything from check in to check out.  The facilities are spotless. Thank you to the entire staff that handled my outpatient procedures! You are the best in the field!!

Rude front desk covid mask enforcer. Ridiculous the way she acts. Rules are fine. Glaring at visitors their entire stay and talking down to them is not She expects visitors to go by rules but not her. Friendly requests go along way. I have a feeling she treats anyone who is attractive this way. She immediately disliked me and glared at me my whole wait time. Awful and unwelcoming. Beyond an enforcer. Acts like a cop. A bad one.

Had an endoscopy and colonoscopy today. Everyone was very cordial. A special thanks to Kelly and Mimi. Thanks to the rest of the staff. Very friendly and made me feel comfortable.

Overall very pleasant experience from interactions with the screener and volunteers to registration and the radiology duo: Jodie and Patti. These ladies explained everything in detail and helped make for a calming environment. No surprises. Thanks VRBH!

Wish they had no star's. The nurse's, Doctors & Staff needs to be more educated about Medical Conditions that contains to people who have PTSD, AUTISM, & other Breathing Issues.  How can they give them an "A" It should be more like an "F" for Failure.

This Health Park was great. Went in for surgery everyone was very nice got right in. Thank you for such a great experience. Dr Rodriguez was my doctor he was the best awesome bed side manner. Would recommend for sure.

I really wish their could be a review for the screeners separate from the staff that do the real work,, My last two experiences with the screeners in this company were terrible  Today was the worst  Once passed the screeners I was met my trained professionals that treated me so well.
